GAMEDAY - Round 22

Pizz off beams. You hero.

Both sides often start well but can't sustain it...how many times did we see that with he dee during the dark days.

They are getting it out far too easily out of our backline.

Goodwin will get us back on track at 1/4 time

We are playing like we lack total respect for Brisbane. Pull the finger out. Finals and this game are NOT a given.

Boys staying in huddle before they went over for qtr time. They know.

We're still in this.

Our side has the footballing IQ of 30.

And that 30 comes from Hibberd.

Hopefully demonlanders now know why Tyson is a whipping boy.

Srsly. He fumbles, turns it over and plays the game in slow motion.

Allowing them 6 marks inside 50 is not good.

Hibberd is a star.

Really frustrated that Hannan just complained and didn't man the mark after giving away 50.

Allowed the Lions to take the kick quicker, further up and under less pressure. And ultimately led to a goal.

Beams looks to have one eye swollen up like Billings from last week. Hope his kicking ends up as good as Billings was

Jeffy went the eye gouge on Beams as he flipped him on to the ground.

Also picks up a lazy 9 disposals in a quarter. 78% efficiency.

Confirmation bias: you remember ever fluffed disposal, while ignoring the majority that aren't.

Well it is 50/50 at qt. They are beating us in the midfield.

Max having a shocker....not a touch. He used to get votes but these days we could replace him with Pedo.

I don't care for disposals including handballs and kicks under no pressure.

They're expected.

Defense seems really off today. So many loose players

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
