I hate to be a smartarse Steve, but if the Dees were playing Casey, then of course the Demons would win.

I worded it that way to give someone the opportunity.

On Jack Watts, apparently he tweaked it again and will be out for another 2 weeks.

Not good but softened a little by our 9 day break .

Got my seat on the forward flank in the members. My Dad died nearly two years ago- I miss him tonight. A big game- we didn't get to do that together much since 2006. (Yep we were at the western oval that day in 1987, and the finals that followed.)

This is the first year since then that I have felt such a build. GO DEES.

Nice post MM. Hope the Dees do it for you and your dad. Love the way footy brings together sons and fathers.

Dermott was asked why we can't challenge this year. He questioned our goal kickers. "Jetta has done well, but can he kick goals against quality A-grade defenders" WTF. Even if he meant Garlett, WTF. And "Hogan has only kicked 9" you stupid [censored].

My dad is in his 80's now and was in hospital this week. The cold is getting him....

May I suggest if you haven't yet. ...

Regardless of what has happened in your lives, say thank you to him. For being the best dad he could.

For 20 mins before the first bounce the crowd numbers are little down on what I came here expecting.

I spent all of 2013 wishing we could play against the two's.

Nearly word for word my situation. Lost my Dad two years in December. Footy is not the same without him in his seat.

Having the same seats for a long time means it feels worse without him there.

He would have loved this year so far.

Without footy i dont think my dad and I would ever talk much. He would laugh about giving me a dud team. Now I can tell my son hes on a winner.

How long can sealing wax and string hold together? Eventually our depth just won't be able to get us over the line.

Having said that

GO YOU GOOD THING

Guess the cold kept plenty away. Hoping we can win but not expecting it.

And these posts make me really appreciate being here with Frankie junior. He's in his late 20s, and it's a great time for us

Look after yourselves.
