At the end of what's been a very long week, it's great to come on to these boards and learn of phenomenon that I didn't know existed.

Whilst I'm not a fan of all of Andrew Bolts Opinions.

My respect for him grew enormously after he fought off those cowards in Lygon St.

Antifa (anti-fascist) are actually the ones using violence these days.

The lefties are the masked gangs crushing dissent.

it's all part and parcel of the demise of the Age.

They were fairly throwable little feminist males. The type that think they might get sexual intercourse if they join the socialist party.

Bollt seem genuinely shocked to be attacked from behind.

He is normally attacked from the left.

There's not much news ( real news) in any of News , Heraldsun or The Aged.

A lot of celebrity rubbish, a lot of opinion and way too much agenda and thats just the sport !!!

Rest of rags same but still rubbish in the main.

Why would anyone waste a cent on tbem.

It seems new News is all on constant media Tv news channels and online platforms.

Sport is one of the few areas that Print seems to report News.

Analysis and opinion are becoming the domain of print.

The Sun has always concentrated on the spectacular created news while The Age has concentrated on big picture/ issues.( very thin generalisations. There's totally more than this)

The Saturday paper is full of journalists and commentators who excel in the opinion presentation. It provides a compelling option for intellectual reflection. But it ain't News.       Read the best music reviews outside of specialist magazines as well.

Need to try and vary sources but I certainly enjoy the demonland mix. Plenty of fiction and fact just often requires time to identify which. Some brilliant wit which I am not good on but I have been told I do a nice line in irony.

So far this weekend after the mandatory first dumb  question at the after the game pressers from Stevo " from the channels of 7 " then Roco seems to take over the session.

Last nights questioning of his favourite winning coach was excruciating. His bias was beyond belief.

After the pre game adorance of " the Sir James Academy " I fully expected Roco was going to do a full on " Explanation interview " with the beguiled coach and set us all straight.

Alas and alack I feel we are being softened up for a bit more of his wisdom now that he is redundant.

7 needs to take a good hard look at itself and urgently review its on air personal.

I for one need more camera time on whats on Roco's T shirts ! Obviously someone puts a lot of work into his messages but either the message or the the body is just not getting it across. Or just he's 50 and trying to come across as 16 !

Too late baby Lingys got the the open neck covered and the others are unconventially conforming !

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
