Daisy, I'm a bit old fashioned with some acronyms.  Does CCTV have something to do with Collingwood Television?  If so, I just can't get my head around what the 2nd "C" stands for.  Can you help me out?

Closed Circuit TV, quite cheap these days. You can buy one for your house!

Yeah I came on here about 11am and noticed noone reporting, looked it up on the website and was surprised with the late start.

Just arrived from a long drive all the way from the LaTrobe Valley. It's nice and sunny out here, pretty warm but there's a nice breeze that should benefit the players. Can't wait to see some good hard work today.

Being in Sydney and just a few minutes drive from the Swans intra club match that starts at 5:30, I was considering going to check out the opposition...but it's currently approx 42C!!!!

Nice turn out already, gotta be a couple of hundred. 8 or so Casey players that will join into the practice match, as well as 3 AFL umpires standing near us that I'm assuming will be doing the game

Split into forwards, mids and defenders atm. Interesting to see Trac in with the forwards

Edit: turns out I'm not driving so time for a couple of frothies boys

The AFL website just reported:-

The Demons are warming up

Ben Guthrie has the latest on the Dees:

Melbourne's players have hit the track at Olympic Park Oval.

It's certainly strange to see the red and blue out on Collingwood's training ground.

The Demons will train for 20 minutes with light skills before launching into their intraclub.

The players are then going to continue to train after the match

Started a full ground drill starting from the back line. Sorry if I go quiet gonna be pretty invested in watching this

Green is first choice defenders and 2nd line forwards from what I can tell. Blue vice versa. Numbers coming off the bench rotating mids between the teams

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
