Of course after the first game, at a hoodoo stadium, against a bogey team, with players that always cut us up.....it could be

You got so old. You’re comfortable and so cold.
And a-what have you done? Tell me, where’s the revolution?
Well, I don’t buy what you say, cause you talk the talk and you walk away.

You know, the times, they aren’t a-changin’.

You sold the dream away.
The times, they aren’t a-changin’. Say hello to yesterday.

We’re still waiting, but your perfect picture’s fading.
Now the sky is falling. Can’t you hear your conscience calling?
One eye for an eye, until everyone is blind.

The times, they aren’t a-changin’. You sold the dream away.
The times, they aren’t a-changin’. Say hello to yesterday.

The times, they aren’t a-changin’. You sold the dream away.
The times, they aren’t a-changin’. Say hello to yesterday.

You know, the times, they aren’t a-changin’. You sold the dream away.
The times, they aren’t a-changin’.
You know, it’s always been the same, same as yesterday.

The times, they aren’t a-changin’. The times, they aren’t a-changin’.
The times, they aren’t a-changin’.

Anywhoo, back to training thread related matters, are there any Queensland Demonlanders who can report on the upcoming sessions there? Interested to hear your observations if so. Cheers in advance.

He obviously decided to follow the example of some on here

With some of the temps the have trained in down here, they will have no issue with the heat

Think it will be more about the bonding and travelling as a team, and freshen up the minds with a new environment for a couple of days

Lewis - his kicking inside 50 is where he stands out
Watts - his leading and ability to create space inside 50 is a cut above. I want him up the ground to get the ball but he is dangerous deep if he can find room and get delivery

Hopefully Lewis delivering inside 50 will allow Watts to play deeper - they could be a lethal combo

Ive been a long time lurker on this board for a number of years now - but I was prompted to create a new account (thought I had an old one... apparently NOT).

For those who've regularly made it down to training over the last 2 preseasons, may I ask how Gawn compares?

Obviously followed up some lofty 2016 goals with an excellent preseason that translated into a career year. How does he look this year?

Seems to be fully fit again but how does his preseason stack up with last seasons?

Congratulations on your first post!?I was at training yesterday and Gawn was looking good. Although I am not exactly a regular at training, the session certainly didn't lack intensity and I would say that we will see an improvement across the board. Spencer was also looking okay enough to ensure Gawn knows he has to lift again in 2017 along with his teammates.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
