Shame there isn't room for Hunt - maybe next year!

Would like to sway Hogan and Viney around.  So - Hogan 3rd from the left and then Viney.

Still no idea who is 2nd from the right, if not Lewis!

Looking at DA's graphical attempt, I'm not sure how Clubber Lang is going to mark the ball with boxing gloves on, but that said he'd probably still do a better job than Chris Dawes

My guess (left to right): gawn, hunt, watts, Vince, jones, daisy, viney, petracca, brayshaw, Hogan. What do I win?

Tbh, the one that is most puzzling is the one fourth from the right. Who spikes their hair like that? Clearly, it's not Thomas Bugg.

I can't believe the first one wasn't Clubber Lang. Oh well I definitely got the other 9 right, surely.

Close to the mark I reckon BA. I thought fourth in may have been Bugg due to the bouffant hairdo. Although I'd like to see a redhead in their to break up the brunettes and blondes. I think Gawn is first.

All my choices were going of their bouffants. After having another look I'd keep all the same names but swap Hunt for Daisy.

Absolutely delighted that Hunt is there!  Probably the best of the up and comers last year!  Has earnt his spot on the banner!

Already:

Gawn, Hunt, Hogan

My preferred final 7:

Jones, Oliver, Petracca, Brayshaw, Viney, Tyson, Goodwin

It's all about the future for me.

I see no reason for Pearce being on the banner.

Why not?

I'm glad the MFC got a licence, but it's a mickey mouse preseason comp that has little interest to me and certainly has nothing to do with the main aim and game, which is the 2017 Home & Away season.  If you have Daisy then I suppose you need the women's coach too ?

It's not something I'm overly concerned about, just an opinion.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
