I thought I might start a thread a little bit different to the Trade Whispers thread for those posters who want to indulge in a little fantasy about free agency, trading and drafting.

This is the place where you can make up a rumour or tell the world about your draft fantasies.

Who knows? Somebody might even get one right.

Actually Mo, Demonland already has a thread that covers such things. It's on the main board and called  "The No T$ No B$ Thread".

You might have come across it at some time in the past four or five years.

Luv the Avatar!!!

Gee... any one of our champions that went before their time Rob, Jim, Sean, Broady...

To somehow embody the spirit  and be part of the resurgence!

For a player to feel the legacy, embrace and want to be "That player"

Then they would share Silver and Gold!

Uncle Bitter and one or two others might understand, what I mean by that!?

I heard we're looking at trading out Weideman to GC for their pick 8.

Expect Damo Barratt to drop the bombshell 9Am Monday.

 Reliable sauce?

And then using pick 8 for Huey Lewis.

Tell me where else you can get two captains and a tuff nut.......tusk,tusk,tusk.

Breaking News: Hawthorn free agent Lance Franklin set to nominate Sydney Swans as his preferred destination. You can bank this.

Stay tuned. My wife and I are about to visit my panel beater friend who's barber has his shop over the road from Windy Hill (a few doors away from that clinic where the injecting went on). Anyway, my mate had a haircut yesterday so I reckon he'll have lots of good oil about the trades for me.

I will pass on any information I glean if you promise to keep it confidential.

Oh no!!!  Max is off to the bummers!?!?

Panel beater mate had nothing to offer but said Essendon would finalise a deal this week for a Melbourne player. He's repairing a De Lorean so the recruiters at Bomberland can travel forward twelve months to help them decide whether next year's second round pick is going to be better than this year's.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
