Probably nothing but I seen a couple of Facebook pages claiming Jesse has signed 4 year extension to be announced in the next day or so.

as I said probably nothing but one of the pages is usually not too bad for these sort of things.

dont shoot the messenger

Ron BurgundyAkum and DemonWA like this

Note the time people, Hellfish first in with the news last night!  Sure I doubted myself but I'll take it

Take Hogan up to Ballarat, pick up several thousand peed off Footscray supporters and then start signing up the best sponsors from Bummers.

Freo's next target was Rory Lobb who just announced a two year extension. Surely Hogan and Lobb announcing extensions on the same day was prearranged to inflict pain on Fremantle. Sometimes it's a wonderful thing working in Fremantle.

Just spent a week in Freo Ethan. Loved it. Infact Perth is great. So the fact that Jesse has resigned says a lot about Jesse and the MFC.

What Great News for us long suffering DEE's, we are getting our ducks in line just need to fill a couple of more spots and we are on the rise, Jesse feels it, we all feel it now Goody and team get the job done!! GO DEE's Yahoooooooooooo!! Wahooooooo!!! What a great start to the day!!!!!!!

To me this is so much more than just keeping Hogan.

Good clubs keep good players. This is a ringing endorsement for the club.

I know others have said it, but what a different club we have become. The dogs have already shown that losers can become winners. Now for the Dee's. In real terms  this signing is incredibly significant in the message it sends out to supporters, players and the football world. And the ratbags who can't resist having a go at the club.

Pity you copped our coolest September for a long time, Ernest.

Why on Earth would you spend a whole week in Fremantle?

I'm having second thoughts now because he can't kick.

Wow just had the realisation we have signed up ALL our key players.

Great stuff, we are a footy club again and the players believe in each other and the direction we are heading.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
