Speaking of Rhino Richards, I'm still carrying a demerit point from the days when he was handing them out like they were going out of fashion. Any chance of having this removed Nash?

Haha, me too.

Rhino was brutal. He could start an argument out of anything.

I have definitely noticed there are a few posters whose opinions generally align with mine, and when I see their avatar, I always stop and read. P-Man probably being one.

I think Saty will go down as one of most, if not the most, notorious posters of all time.

Does anyone else think of posters looking exactly like their avatars (in your head at least)?

in fact, it's downright annoying when ppl don't have one. Better get my act together.

Absolutely!  I've taken great pleasure in watching Nasher grow from a baby-faced little girl, to become a couple of mighty Demons hugging each-other. The transformation has been akin to the Melbourne Footy Club under Paul Roos.

I've noticed our views often align.  Can't ever remember disagreeing with what you've written.

This is now my favourite thread. I'm hitting like all over the shop.

Not sure if people imagining me reciting my posts to them while sitting on the toilet is a good thing, but I'm too attached to my avatar to change it.

Discerning tone over a purely based text format is always an interesting conundrum here. ie - I'm aware I can come across as a complete [censored] here, whereas in real life I'm only maybe half a [censored]. Also think a fair few of the posters that butt heads here often would be the most likely to get along in real life, and despite my "online" relationship with some of them I'd enjoy having a beer with a few of them. (Not that I'd ever actually offer or want to).

So, Demonland end of season BBQ?

Yeah I really like it. He seems to be both grumpy and self-satisfied at the same time.

...Think of what we were doing 5 or 10 years ago, or 20 or 30 years ago. Most of us are doing different things, have disposed of activities, friends, houses and material possessions. Changed partners, wives, lovers, Changed jobs, lost jobs, taken up new pleasures. Changed drinking habits and other activities....

About the only constant from 10 years ago is the drinking and demonland. And even those aren't as much as they used to be!

Haha, that baby-faced little girl turned 10 a few weeks ago.  Time is going terrifyingly fast.

I went avatarless after 186 - thought it was the best reflection about how I felt at the time.  Installed Gus and Trac after the round one win in 2015 - still think it's a pretty good moment single capture for the entire Roos era.

Will definitely be on the hunt for a Goodwin era avatar in 2017!

Come on! You offered to meet me for a beer after the Essendon loss earlier in the year stu, then pulled the offer once I declined, like it never happened... jilted. :(

But glad I was on my own that day. Perhaps the closest I've ever come to being arrested at the footy.

And for those wondering about BBO's avatar pic, I've met the 'man' several times. Yes, that is exactly how he looks in real life, but often he changes the colours around a bit depending upon mood. His missus, on the other hand, is a 4'6" obese truck driver covered in tatts and suspicious facial hair...

Mach I think I might be the only one but my AV is a pic of my good self. At the Dee's Freo game from '08.

Was there too. Pure elation at such a putrid time.

I'm not sure if I'm chuffed that I'm pedantic enough to rate a mention, or bemused that one of the most pedantic posters on this board has labelled me as such.

Either way I'll take it.

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
