Featured Replies

Dean Kent 15 possessions, 7 inside 50s, 2 goals..     needed to step up as the main small forward and he is dominating.

Kent having his best game in a while too. Not so much for his pressure acts but presenting really well to link up at half forward for us

Kent's best (half) game for year so far. Another half to go though. Keep It going son

I am kinda of enjoying how we are always a second away from disaster. We just love nearly [censored] up running into an open goal.

Trengove and Tyson already with 7 tackles.

Trengove working his way into it. Don't know that we're going to see his best this season, but proving his value.

Fair enough.

Although from memory, the only one who said we haven't improved at all is SWYL, which is pretty much par for the course.

I did say glacial. :)

That's my second favourite moment of Bugg in a Melbourne jumper.

The first obviously being the shushing of the Richmond cheer squad.

Were targeting Sidebottom big time - absolutely nailing him at every opportunity.

Good to see.

Now just to keep that quarter of footy going for another two.

Hunt's run off HB...brilliant

Oliver seems to haveve lost some form but vince has made up for it

Now we know why everyones been wating fro tracca

Think there's a daily (or monthly?) subscription. Generally works well, even on OK internet.

I went back to quote, saw this and thought against it. It's easier to forgive those calls when we play well. I'm guilty of them when we play rubbish as well. ?

A good side would have smashed us to pieces in the first quarter

we would be 10 goals down

but dream on that everything is Rosy

The Filth are walking dead this year...

I just witnessed Oliver vomiting smack bang in the middle of the ground like 5 times.

Our first quarter was made to look bad mainly because we butchered the ball forward of centre. Opened it up out the back and they capitalised.

We improved that part of the game, tidied up some possession in close and they started to crack.

That's twice you've accused me of that without evidence.

Just enjoy the fact that your team is 5 goals up on Queen's Birthday while you can!

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
