Surely it has to be at the end of a round to count?

Correct, enjoy while we're in.

So...do I have to barrack against Adelaide for the rest of the year? Because my family members in South Australia aren't going to like that.

What more reason do you need??? ^_^

If you have a play with the ladder predictor, you'll see that Adelaide look like sitting just above us in eighth spot basically for the rest of the season.  It would take some freak results for us to get over them and into the eight.  So yes, you absolutely need to barrack against them for the rest of the year.  Send them as many negative vibes as you can, because if they fall over and Melbourne win the games they should (ie against the bottom 6) we may have a sniff at finals this year.

Yeah, we all want to win...... thats a given.

But we also know that the Dogs are a considerably better team than we are ATM. Doesnt mean we cant win, but it does mean it will be against the odds if we do.

We get close and lose, im not so angry. We win and i am both surprised and pumped.

Dogs for the win. ( Sorry )

P.S. GO DEES !!

It's not so much that they are good.  They just have draw that matches up with ours really well.  Every time we win, so do they.

It's a nice milestone.

I think it goes without saying that we need to keep winning.  Do you reckon the club might go "ripper, we're in the 8 one game in to round 8, let's pack up shop for the rest of the season now"?

The overwhelming optimism here gives me serious cause for concern about the outcome of tomorrow's match.

Feels suspiciously like the St Kilda match, after we won 2-in-a-row and spent the week beaming in the media.

I can certainly see that, but I reckon we'll be on tomorrow. Whether we can beat them is another matter. I've been telling my mates we'll beat them, so I hope so.

I know what you mean but think you are a week early. Reckon the players will have really set themselves for this one. A win will prove we are on the up and to be taken seriously. And then next week there will be a fair bit of "oh my poo actually doesn't smell" We will then get hammered by Brisbane.

That does fit the usual Melbourne formula doesn't it, judging by our Carlton and Essendon losses last year.

I was seriously concerned about the Saints game, they match up well on us and it was at their home ground, a ground we don't handle all that well.

I'm feeling confident about tomorrow and whilst I'm not expecting us to win by a lot, I'm expecting us to win.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
