At least we now have someone to replace Leuenberger.

Averaged 8 Disposals, 30 hit outs, 3.6 tackles and 1.6 marks last season
Not the worse more hitouts then we got in the whole of last season

If we beat one side this year, let it be Port with Jamar dominating.

As long as we keep attracting players and support staff from clubs with some sort of connection to Dank/Robinson then im perfectly happy.

Good news at last, this is the second best signing behind Crowley.

That second last quote. Is that correct? Surely by now even the most one eyed Essendon supporter must be wanting separation from Dank and Robinson.

Yes, I think it was more tongue-in-cheek than anything.

The Ox just reported that Port offered Jamar more money than EFC who had put a deadline on their offer.  Jamar had to accept the lower offer.

The deadline very conveniently ended before the AFL decision on top-up players.  The 'handball' to Dillon and the other 13 clubs was simply a stalling tactic!  How contrived!!  Yep, let the cheats take the best available and b.....r the other 4 clubs!!

I bet the AFL would have made a decision earlier and in favour of the other 4 affected clubs if one was Collingwood (Eddie would be squealing) or Carlton (we all know who the AFC Chairman played for).

Astounding. What exactly is it in the water over in Bomberland? They're all delusional.

I believe Ox's information is spot on and simply highlights the AFL's incomptence in the way it has conducted this process.

Incompetence or yet another clandestine way to help their pet club ?

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner.

I made a post about this yesterday in the Gil thread. The delayed decision for all non-Essendon clubs was by design to ensure Essendon got the best available players.

I had a feeling this might be the case.

When the AFL should've come down hard on a club and made it emphatically known to all that what they did was wrong and not what the game is about, they instead nurture and go to these kinds of extremes to help said club.

It's a shock Gillon didn't set up a free hugs stand at Windy Hill the way he was carrying on in interviews when the CAS verdict came in, he was already that far in their favour.

Incompetence is far too kind a slant on this sordid episode.

Corrupt is even a bit kind, but I struggle to find a term to describe it better.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
