The Jack Trengove is BACK Thread

Featured Replies

Spoke to someone close to jack, he put his hand up to play 2 weeks ago. Selection committee were cautious bringing him in against gcs at metricon (wanted him to play another vfl game)ย and against the quicker bulldogs.ย

Initially thought it would mean we had this game in mind. Look to see him in the squad of 25.

I'm still in Papua and will change my flight on Saturdayย from Denpasar to Melbourne instead of heading back to Perf if Trenners is named.

I'm sure the missus will get over it eventually.

This will be my second game I am able to attend if trenners gets a game I will be stoked, got the number 9 on my jumper because of him and I can already picture him kicking a goal and the crowd going bananas gives me goose bumps, let's hope it happensย

Playing Trengove this week would probably see an extra 5000 through the gates.

If our break-even figure is approx 20,000, playing JT this week should see us get to half our breakeven target.

I had another comment but decided to be a little more genteel stuie.

A membership boost as well I'd assume..

What if he wereย to break down in the first 15 minutes ย Steve?

imagine the misses comments then!

She doesn't even know who he is.

All she knows is that I spend far too much time reading Demonland.

ย

Would they play him the week later in the NT? they might resist until after we are back.ย

Or maybe play this week, week off back for the game after port...

Ok, now I'm ranting...

Heard it a while back, obviously things change. Was going to post earlier but a lot of things I hear sound quite "boring" or obvious.ย

Do you wear those for incontinence old Dee ?ย

Or is that your computer.

Get him in, the Buzz and excitement this will bring to the group will be amazing.ย  He has earned ย his game get him and ANB in he is another that has really banged the door down

Sorry old sport, I'll stick to writingย about our backline andย boring opinionsย like your 9,943 posts....NOT

I've been told he has put his hand up, I wen't out on a whim and said "I'm hearing he might play"

Would've thought Iย murdered someone.

Thinking the same thing. If this is a disciplinary offence then I would start widening the criteria and include anyone who posts rubbish, insults, and other nonsense. That would include me and manyย other contributors to this site. Don't lose any sleep, although given your Avatar that may be difficult.ย

Tell her that she needs to get a life and read it too!

What will everyone think if he gets on the ground, and moves as slow as he did when he last played?ย I understand the excitement, but its possible there might be a let down also.

ย

Hope he does play, and play well.

I'll be just as happy as when a slow, over-weight Davidย Schwarz trudged onto the G against Adelaide.

He was playing on one foot when he last played...ย

ย

Why the negativity?ย

ย

Imagine if he came back and played as well as he did in his first season.ย
