Umpires are a disgrace. Whatever happened to incorrect disposal? Cost a certain goal when that Bulldogs player dropped it.

Now's not the best time to say it but the umpiring is sh!t is every match. It is (or should be) a scandal that the umpiring panel will not direct the umps to referee the game according to the written rules.

it became very clear in that half that there is absolutely no point whatsoever playing Rohan Bail, the guy will not be offered a new contract so what is there to be gained by him playing any more in the seniors. Would rather see Stretch or JKH play.

[censored] you and [censored] this. I'm out.

First time ever in my entire Melbourne supporting life that I'm leaving at half time

Yep, I've stuck by Roos, but now happy to see him gone. We've seen MFC capable of producing, but too often, the effort is very poor. I'd like to see the coaching position opened up to outsiders at the end of the year.

haha omg

Honestly, if anyone here thinks the umpiring is what deserves comment... Forest and trees people!

Our midfield needs our man goal kicker in it, to get moving. It speaks volumes of the guys paid to be in those positions.

And would it hurt the umps to pay us a free fecking kick.

That is the worst I have seen Melbourne play live.

I honestly cannot believe we just played a half that bad, in 2015, with Roos as coach, with 6 wins already, having had a good month.

I hope the journos go hard. We costly have the cattle. You doing beat geelong without talent. It's attitude and desire, game plan and coaching. We're going to lose the young guys if this keeps up.

Didn't take long for Chris Dawes to rediscover his woeful ordinary standards.

We're essentially two men down at the centre taps because Gawn taps to the advantage of the opposition 9 times out of 10 and if the ball somehow ends up in dispute, he doesn't provide a decent enough 2nd effort. I'd put Howe in the ruck.

DONT WORRY ALL PART OF THE AFL GRAND PLAN FOR 2 VICTORIAN TEAMS IN THE TOP 4 also we are crap girls coming out after half time

Yes its not the problem but bulldogs get the rub of the green against us everytime. Been happening for years

Roos is angry.

He'll cruise right past that to acceptance soon enough.

We all have.

Its worse than i was expecting, but i aint slitting my wrists just yet. At the point in time the past counts for nothing. We are coming up against a finals bound team on a roll and brimming with confidence. In contrast we have been inconsistent all year and have been vulnerable to teams with quick ball movement. But i expect us to show a lot more in the second half is Roos is worth his said pay package.

But we keep doing it. The only game Essendon have won in their last 11 is against us. That was the most unwatchable ugly game of footy I have seen.

And now we serve up this Auskick training video ("How not to ...")

Q: What's the worst thing that can happen to you as a melbourne player?

A: have the words "All-australian" used in a sentence to describe your form early in the season. T-Mac has been Melbournised the longer the season has gone on and has now resumed his former self. I knew it was too good to be true. Just waiting for it to happen to Jesse and Angus.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
