I don't think I'd go to another game for the year. I know that we all hate losing but I'm genuinely sick of having my weekend ruined. I think that if we lose this week it'll be the nail in the coffin and we'll finish last. If we win, it could snowball into something better...but we say that after every win. 4 wins after round 15, I'm just kind of over it.

If we lose, I'm going to make an effort to cut out Melbourne for a few weeks. I don't care if they win during that period. I'll just go out during the game and leave my phone at home, and just enjoy myself.

I've forgotten what it feels like to actually *enjoy* watching my team. And I've forgotten what it feels like to go to a game *knowing* they're a very high certainty of winning. I haven't felt that since 2005, 2006.

I don't want to boycott this team but I think that it would be good for me. I'm seriously devastated every time they lose when I go in knowing they can win if they have a genuine crack. Last Saturday actually ruined my weekend. And my girlfriend's the same. It literally puts a strain on our relationship. We look forward to this [censored] every week and we go in excited and plan our day around it, and then we end up fighting lol

If we lose this week and not win another game, all the teams below us will start tanking to ensure we don't get a top 2 or 3 pick.

So we'll end the season disgracefully but yet not improve our draft position.

If Brisbane wins, that would suggest they're not tanking. Our percentage is not great and if we lose every remaining game and even snag a win, it would drop and we'd freefall.

We're paying $26 for the spoon, $11 for 17th, and $7 for 16th. They are all amazing odds that I'll jump on if we lose this weekend.

Put 50 on each. Where did you get the odds?

Not renew my membership until they win 14 games in a single season.

I would be happy with consecutive wins :-(. Easy to please.

Same as you praha, for my own sake not watch another game. The sad thing is two of my kids will be on the ground for the Berry Street guard of honour, and I have just taken the odds of $11 for Brisbane by 40+. I am trying to be so excited for my kids, but it is so hard as I have a bad bad feeling about this game.

Hedge your bets people, its dirty money, but compensation needed if the worst case arises.

FWIW we'll win, Hogan will kick a bag.

I shall give myself a jolly good Flogging!

Has it ever occurred to you BBO that these 'threats' are exactly the reason we keep losing?

The players may be throwing games just to see you [censored] yourself.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
