You need a Demonland holiday Bitter. Give up your weak attempts at abuse and contribute something football for once

How many more holidays can you get when you have when you work in education?

• Toumpas lacks the athletic traits to make it IMO. Particularly given he panics.

Saying this after the last fortnight simply shows your bias. The last two weeks Toumpas has shown great gut-running and increased courage.

That's the kind of improvement that warrants re-selection. Same with Grimes, he is showing an increased tendency to take the game on and not to resort to backwards/sideways dinky kicks that he isn't capable of executing. That kind of improvement should be rewarded at the moment.

I'd like to see TMac take Cloke, Dunn should be more than enough for White, I'd put McDonald on Elliot, Jetta on Blair and Fitzy on the resting ruck.

McDonald's good, but I'm not sure he can take Cloke and Elliot at the same time...

Just gone off you Biffen. Teachers on Demonland provide the intelligent, considered opinions plus we correct your spelling mistakes. For those tasks alone we need 10 weeks annual leave.

You must be joking! "Toumpas has shown great gut running and increased courage""

1 Gut running doesn't mean you get the ball! 14 disposals hardly shows how this factor is critical!

2 Increased Courage?? Was it lacking from the start?? What has happened in the last fortnight that it has suddenly increased? More spinach or Nutra grain perhaps??

3 FWIW if you want to highlight some qualities which should be non negotiables, then lets go back to under 14 footy! eh?

And if our guy had grabbed the one on one (can't remember who it was) and ran on to goal it would have been a stroke of genius.

IIRC he did something similar the previous week, successfully, and was lauded for it.

Such a fine margin between success and failure.

And of course far easier in retrospect

I think it was Bail who didnt contest Must watch it again. he had no body in front of Him

You must be a sad lonely old folk thats got nothing better to do but sink the boots into Toumpas at every little opportunity you get. This clearly proves you haven't watched the game and you go by stats and what other write on here.

Time to give yourself a rest on here PF. Maybe take up a new hobby? Even better go do us all a favour and support another team?

Because its quite obvious hey the name Jimmy Toumpas makes you go grey and wrinklier all the time.

Wow you must feel so fantastic about your own "Precious" opinions! Gee in a previous life you might have been someone of "Rare" importance with your ah "Considered and extremely valuable opinions" Clearly!

I would Hope DD can back up his unqualified support for Toumpas and Jack Watts.

There is a reality DD they are not playing well, no where near what is required and hoping they will is not enough and some on here should be allowed to say it without being shot down

Hang on a minute. I haven't had a holiday since April and now I've got another three and a half weeks before I get another couple of weeks off. Fair go! What do you expect of us? We spend our days with kids ffs..

Reverend I knew there was a problem with HER last advise. She did not tell you which team would win.

I have almost lost all faith in her predictions

Where to from here?

There's nothing wrong with not rating Toumpas highly (I don't either), we just don't need to read about it every second thread.

Exactly.

Its getting beyound disgraceful when that muppet berates him when its not even necessary.

To avoid being totally massacred (12 goals or more)...

OUT: Soft Cox & the bottom end of the NQRs

IN: Tough nuts & other marginally better NQRs (even if they have less perceived talent than the soft cok NQRs)

Of course everyone is allowed to have a say. Thats not the issue.

The issue is at every single chance he gets PF will sink his sad little boots into him. He has a serious hate for him and everyone on demonland knows it. Even against the WB he still gave him a clip when it was clearly his best game for the club.

The kid could come out and get 36 disposals and kick 5 goals and he would still find a way to give him a kick.

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
