Roos: "Now it's time for the easiest part of any coach's job. The cuts.

Although I wasn't able to cut everyone I wanted to, I have cut a lot of you.

Bail is cut. Howey is cut. Matty Jones, you're gone. Fitzy, I like your hustle. (Fitzy smiles) That's why it was so hard to cut you. (Fitzy frowns)

Congratulations, the rest of you made the team! (random sighs of relief) Except you and you (points to Watts and Toumpas)"

In all seriousness,

Out: Bail, Howe, Fitzpatrick (Don't need the extra tall unless Collingwood plays all of Witts, Grundy, White, Cloke)

In: Newton, Tyson, Riley

Forgot Watts... absolutely has to go.

IN: Gawn, Tyson, Newton, Riley

OUT: Fitzpatrick, Watts, Howe, Bail

Forgot Watts... absolutely has to go.

You know what? You're probably right. Hopefully ANB or someone else from Casey i.e Harmes puts their hand up. Severely lacking depth.

IN: Gawn, Tyson, Newton, Riley

OUT: Fitzpatrick, Watts, Howe, Bail

Reckon you're close David but Fitzy will not be replaced with a tall. Howe did put in a shocker but he may get another chance.

Howe did put in a shocker but he may get another chance.

No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Should be dropped to the development league until he learns to give a [censored].

In: Tyson, Newton, JHK if fit

Out: Bail, Fitzy, Howe

I bet Dawes will come in and be shithouse

Bye this week.

Ins will be on exposed form (Riley, Michie, Newton) or returns from injury.

No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Should be dropped to the development league until he learns to give a [censored].

So do you want his attitude to rub off on potential footballers?

In Tyson, Newton, Gawn

Out Howe, Bail and M Jones

I posted last week we need Balance, Dunn can't play on White so Fitzpatrick stays in.

Play the two ruckman, pedo is the perminent forward with Hogan.

If Tyson isn't fit bring in Riley or Mitchie

Out: m.jones, bail, Fitz

In: Riley, Tyson, Newton

Knowing the selection committee they will drop Pedersen and bring in Dawes.

If you say Gawn every week, you'll be right eventually.

hopefully this week mate :)

Now who was saying Tyson needs to come back through Casey to get some form?

He was badly missed today.

We just don't have enough class yet. We can't afford to have players like Tyson & Salem missing and some of our not quite there yet's like Frost, Kent & JKH being out means we have way too many passengers and the wait falling to too few.

TDI said that LOL

Howe needs to be dropped. His an over rated hack who is trying to hold the club to ransom on his contract while he sits in the forward pocket doing jack [censored].

At least get more then 2 touches a quarter of you have the farken nerve to hold the dees to ransom over a contract and put off talks to the end of the year.

He needs to remember, without the dees he probably wouldn't be playing AFL

Forgot Watts... absolutely has to go.

Go where?

Out: Watts, Bail, M Jones, Fitzpatrick

In: Newton, Tyson, Michie, Gawn

B: Jetta Dunn Garland

HB: Grimes McDonald Lumumba

C: Vince Jones Toumpas

HF: Howe Hogan Newton

F: Garlett Pedersen Gawn

R: Spencer vandenBerg Cross

I: Tyson Viney Brayshaw (Michie)

Knowing the selection committee they will drop Pedersen and bring in Dawes.

Given you know them, could you say hi from me? :)

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
