I found this by googling who does Clint Stanaway barrack for?

It’ so interesting! But I won’t lie, I kinda wish I hadn’t read the Essendrug list. I could’ve happily gone to my grave not knowing Tim Minchin barracks for those filthy bottom-feeders.

Edit: It’s Freo for Tim Minchin, not Essendon! So happy to have made a mistake.

In a St.Kilda scarf if I remember correctly.

Reckon there was a video of muso types having a kick at half time at a VFL / AFL game many moons ago. None of 'em wore footy boots & it was a wet, muddy surface so the video consisted mainly of them slipping over in slow motion. I think @Smokey your uncle Big Wilbur was out there sporting Melbourne colours. Can't recall many others but Molly Meldrum was in Saints gear & Jon English in a Fitzroy outfit. Shirley Strahan in Hawthorn colours

I read one of the earlier posts that Jesse and Ella Hooper from Killing Heidi we're Melbourne supporters.
Was gonna reply that that I didn't care about Jesse but am happy Ella is.

Read further on and I'd already replied.
Thought I'd gone Back to the Future till I saw the dateline.
Was amused my thoughts hadn't changed ?

I’ve been to the footy with your Uncle Wilbur. I can re-confirm he is most definitely a Dees supporter, scarred yet hopeful, like others of his gen.

Interesting to see James Tomkins in twice. Perhaps he was a fan of the proposed merge back in the day?

Tim Minchin..?! If I was given an ultimatum to watch one of his shows or cut off a finger, I would definitely cut a finger off, without hesitation.

I watched the Geelong final with Russell in 2018 in a pub in London, total random encounter. Great bloke! Didn't join me on the beers at 10am though from memory... think he had some business to attend to after the game.

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
