Would absolutely support a change of logo.

I like that MFC logo which appears on the New Balance training guernseys and gear generally. The one that looks a bit like Carlton's.

No RB theirs looks a bit like ours

Seriously I have always liked the Carlton Jumper/ logo.

Simple and gets the message over and with a couple of exceptions they do not messed with it.

They stay on message.

I can't say I like the Carlton jumper logo, OD. It is too busy for mine (not to mention various other detrimental factors  ) But then I like the current emblem, and didn't mind the blazers, so ...:wacko:

FFS the jumper logo and club logo don't need to be the same.

MFC Monologue for jumpers

Current logo for letterheads and business docs etc

Sorry 'Pennant', they really do need to be the same.

You need a consistent message with your marketing as with everything else.

Well that says it all R and B

Convicted out of your own mouth, you liked the blazers!

I shall never be able to think the same about your comments ever again.

Just watched PJ's AGM Speech in full

I have no problems with what he said regarding September in 2016.

It is a goal to aim for. To expect after hard work from all at the club.

The club is no longer in survival mode. It is time to grow.

As he states. We get no favours for being Melbourne. It is up to the club to honour the cities name.

We should always expect to up there. But it will not be gifted.

No issues with what he has said though I think that it felt a little contradictory when he stressed that the club would connect with the those living in the city of Melbourne, those new to Melbourne and youth (a concept I am fully supportive of) but would also look after out heartland and bring them back into the fold. I guess it doesn't have to be either/or but I think we do need a tighter focus on what we are trying to achieve on that front. The rest of the stuff I am 100% on board with. Sadly, under Jimma/McLardy/Schwab regime, our goals were unrealistic and smacked of quick fix. We kept putting the cart before the horse. We talked of premierships, golden eras and being a future powerhouse. The thing was that with all this dreaming, we never paid attention to what was actually going on at the time and/or had no earthly idea of how far our plans were from our reality.

Here is an update on Club plans. Finals and other goals repeated. From Patrick Smith http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/demons-plot-a-path-to-finals-footy-by-2016/story-e6frg6n6-1227260519589

My favourite part: "Jackson also confirmed he would head the club’s administration until at least the end of 2016 — tying in with senior coach Paul Roos’ tenure — and a year longer than he is contracted for."

This certainly puts to bed the faux story a month ago about Bartlett going after Brian Cook etc etc. PJ gives a bit more stability and confidence to the club for a few more years!

Couldn't be happier!! ;)

This may be a silly question, but how do I read the article without subscribing or buying the fish and chip paper?

CB, I think that relates to the Bentleigh club deal. When we took that over, we also took on that debt. The assets gained were much greater than the debt and we believe with income gained we will pay it off in a relatively short term and be left with the assets.

At least that is what I remember. Someone else may be able to elaborate.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
