The following is a complete list of footballers who couldn't make a career of it under Paul Roos but went on to thrive elsewhere:

I have been sitting here with bated breath for your list pants, but alas nothing as yet!

West Coast must be going well.

Just read they delisted Adam Carter. I was super impressed in a East Perth WAFL game I watched this year. Checked to see ge was Eagles listed at the time as I thought he was a prospect. Only 20. Tough and skilled. Not a skinny type.

Possible rookie in my opinion.

He is better than Terlich in the small defensive role. Handy backup to Nev Jetta IMO.

Actually, flicking around the radio stations this year I was surprised to discover Brown was okay. Not great, or anything. But he offered up enough opinions to make me nod my head in agreement. (Okay, or maybe sleep.) That's more than can be said for the great majority of the rest of the plonkers, cliché merchants, yes men, dreamers and drama queen pearl clutchers.

2. Shaun McKernan

"If he got fitter he could become a very good player because they don’t get any smaller as they get older."

WTF does that even mean?

I would consider James Polkinghorne in the PSD, we currently have Tapscott out of contract and hanging on by a thread.

I would have Polkinghorne ahead of Tapscott any day, good size, coming into his prime, far better midfielder, and has proved he can push himself to win in those tight games.

No way. Hasn't played a good game in years and even then he wasn't anything special. Short, slow, poor skilled. We've got guys like Michie and Riley already who are far more worthy to get games in to than Polks.

Sam Blease makes the top three on Nathan Brown's list of delisted players who will get another chance.

None of the players there interest me one bit.

Definitely wouldn't go for Mitch Brown 636 VFL games is heavy workload, he must be tired.

The only ones of remote interest to me would be the Geelong pair George Burbury and Jordan Schroder but my opinion's based on how I viewed them at least a year ago because I didn't really follow the VFL as much in 2014 as in the past and don't know what held back their progress during the season other than the strength of the Cats' list which made it hard for them to break into the AFL team.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
