So even if we get the 3-&-12-for Beams deal that some are having wet dreams over, that's effectively Trengove + Frawley + 23 for Beams.

MASSIVE overs!

Not if Trengove can no longer play at the level required by Roos & Stone it isn't.

Beams has had a far greater impact on his teams results then trenners & Frawley combined. Plus we may get a pick back for Frost. So Trenners, Frawley, Pick 23 for Beams & Frost? Your kidding if you think that's massive overs.

I really really like Trenners, the bloke, & the player in his first 2 years. Atm he is faced with 1 year left on his contract at Melbourne, coming back from a big surgery and layoff with no g'tees of ever getting back to his form of 3 years ago let alone bettering it!!!!

If the tiges offer him 3 years on big bucks despite this then good on him & the club for exploring it, which at this stage is all that is happening as far as we know.

If this is really on the cards..I.e Jack on the move I'd dearly love to see what Melbourne and Adelaide can work out...hint hint...nudge nudge !!

Dont need Toiges or Pies in this at all for a really good outcome

People on here over rating melbourne players cause they're nice guys need to have a good look in the mirror before knocking Essendon, pies and any other supporters for their over inflated values placed on their players!!

Throw in watts, scully, scully's compo (hogan etc)....... Yep, Beams has almost more accomplishments as a player than our whole list for the last 10 years ffs!!

No, seriously....when I watch the Pies, Swan, Sidebottom and Pendlebury dominate...

Ha! Swan!! When was that, 2012? Oh no, wait, that was the year Beams won the Copeland..... Steele gets off the chain thanks to Beams & Pendles, the captain, being a top 3 in afl player, is the only player at the pies who can impact a game more than Beams, not even Cloke can or does.

He has had a more consistent season than pendles in my opinion. Pendlebury has had some stand out games but looking at the season as a whole beams is probably just behind him as Collingwoods best player in 2014.

And what level will Beam's game be at in 3 or 4 years? This year's performance is only part of the equation if you are going to give up the kind of high draft picks that have been mooted.

Trengove is my favourite player so this makes me a little sad but really, he isn't comfortably in our best 22 unless he can recapture early form, the MFC need to be ruthless, pick 12 will be a very good player, and one that hasn't been scarred by the last eight years.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
