100% agree. Overrated is wines

Bah ha ha ha! "Overated" Iv'e now "Heard it all" Ollie Wines Overated!! Bah

Greg Norman nearly cut his own hand off today.

Thought it might be in constant demand downstairs but apparently he couldn't outsource the tree lopping despite his cash/

Don't know if this theory has been Touted but I just wonder" wonder" if Viney chose Toumpas because he might have had his Son's best interests at heart. I mean to say Wines is twice the player Viney is, even maybe more so. Hnmm some food for thought!

shocking post, even for you

Like shooting fish in a barrel.

By the by who are you quoting?

None of you understand AFL to the extent I do.

That is why your human existences are less important than mine.

We al agree.

Every time Wines touched the ball last night I jabbed myself in the leg with my fork. (Lucky I am only allowed plastic forks.)

Been drinking your own bathwater so long your taste buds can't detect irony.

Would be interested to see how they would go if viney played for port and wines played for mfc

The way you're carrying on about this, PF, the more I think that you're not right about things very often and you're feeling the need to squeeze every last drop out of this one.

Plastic forks? You've been behaving then?

The voices in his head, I believe he referred to them in an earlier post. Apparently they even disagreed with his post.

So ... if we pass on Petracca and pick another player not rated in the top 5, those who want to go against the conventional way of thinking will be ok with that? (that would be a Toumpas/Wines type scenario by the way)

Even to the point where if Petracca turns out to be an 'A' grader and the bloke we picked outside the top 5 turns out to be a 'C' grader? That's still ok?

You see, this whole hype surrounding Petracca almost forces a team to pick him with their early pick. It's the same nearly every year. Kreuzer, Gibbs, Scully, Watts/Natanui etc etc. It must be remembered that Petracca is no guarantee to turn out to be an A grader despite what all the experts and pundits think. There's a lot of grey area here - it's confusing, chaotic & not all is what it seems.

Where was the hype about Fyfe (20), Stevie J (24) Chapman (35) Robbie Gray (55) Goodes (43) Dangerfield (10)? There's a stack of other champs who were picked late.

The thing that hurts with Wines is that he wanted to come here. As I posted with my first post on land, basically there was a chance to build a fraternity here…a brotherhood.

I'd love to know the inside machinations of the decision. Neeld probably wanted to exert his power over Todd.

Good thread P-man. A cross section of Dland [censored] have posted and basically made no sense. Good stuff!

Time to end the thread now you've arrived. Can't beat that.

This the thread that doesn't end it just goes on and on my friend, some people started reading it now knowing what it was but just keep on reading it forever just because this is the tread tha doesn't end...........

It could be that Neeld exerted his power over Todd, or it could be that Todd rated Toumpas the better player, like everyone else in the industry who counts. Just putting it out there.

Not sure what I'm even doing in this lounge anyway. I hate this topic and I hate the flagellators who keep bringing it up.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Steve Martin had corks on the end of his.

That appears to be a discriminatory reference to flaggelators (sic) Gnasher. Is such language permitted under the Dland Code of Conduct?

Before Picket and Sambo post it's probably fair to let them know the incorrect spelling of Ollie's surname in the thread title is intentional.

Just realised Picket has posted, the unnecessary quotations are a giveaway.

Apply this to any good thread.

More pizz in the punch as we say at the Gat.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
