Or he wouldn't have just posted at all if that's how he felt.

He is obviously pretty excited about the changes so don't see what the hassle is.

If you can't use your brain and see that a captain will tweet that even if we brought in three one-legged men from the local park, I can't help you.

FFS .....This is the 21century There are such things as mobile phones,Skype, Face to Face ect ect ect

Roos can be in contact at all times during the trade period......Would you prefer him to be on holidays when pre season training starts????

Just get over yourself.

No, but I bet he's not taking calls at 4am in his hotel room, when they need a 5 second decision. Why not take a week between now and the draft, when really nothing is happening.

I like most here am disappointed that the "big fish" wasn't hooked.

However, none of us know what transpired behind closed doors, and especially with the "Tyson" deal last year, clubs 'may' have thought twice about giving up fringe players to Roos. Thinking what are we not seeing that Roos & co see...

Haha, and you slated me for telling you to do exactly that.

Its guys like you who drive away people who get the occasional inside word from forums.

Surely you can grasp that things change and deals which looked on can fall through.

I have no doubt that the Trengove injury screwed us from getting JK. IMO 3 and 12 would have sufficed and once that fell through we werent willing to offer both 2 and 3. If Sydney didnt have Heeney to commit their first pick then it might have also changed the outcome.

The murmurings that Sydney's cap is maxed out seems legit, they couldnt upgrade Biggs to their main list and were forced into trading him last minute. It definetely ties in with why JK seeked like a genuine target.

One of their stars will no doubt be availablr next year for the right offer. Buddy only got 400k this season and his salary is set to skyrocket in 2015 and the year after

Adam Goodes playing on with his huge salary wouldn't be helping their cause. We'll just have to try shaking a few more players loose next year.

If we pull a good player in the PSD, I hope everyone will remember today.

Question for those with more knowledge, can a player nominate the PSD if he isn't in the ND?

I think we did that with Jurrah a few years ago.

I hope we screw Pelchen & the Saints over this low effort, so they threatened to use P-21 on Frost, to force us the pay P-23 to GWS. Whilst they want to take Membrey for a PSD pick... they stil could have trumped us with that P-21, but they didn't bother... just wanted to screw us over.... cost us a 2nd Rnd National Draft pick, instead of a PSD pick.

Rrrsses

they need some punishment for their low act. Did they do it in request of Steve Silvani or Sheedy, or was it just they're noble selves?

Lowden is rubbish? He kicked 3 goals on debut.

I hope we tried to make a play for him.

Daniel Metropolis kicked 6 on debut and he was a good ordinary WAFL player

Shane Ellen kicked 5 in the pressure cooker of a Grand Final

Hawthorn do not have a great ruck division and have not had for 5 years he played 1 game in that time for a reason, and do yourself a favour and watch the game you're talking about against Meth Coast in Tassie not many would have missed those gifts

IF the Demons list management are Not really angry & [censored] off with the Saints for doing what they did to us today,,,, then I am really worried they aren't up to the job.

we have to be angry at this, & we have to go harder at these pr icks.

I am really [censored] off with how we missed the A grader, & could have used Howe if done earlier...

Oh come on! What else is there to pass the day?

Something productive that does not provide regular let downs ?

I do however get your drift.

No, I 'slated' you for your hypocrisy

If you think GNF had any inside word you are puling yourself

Remember he claimed we were getting two guy in who would be the two best players in the team plus we were going to keep a downgraded version of pick 2 and you somehow think that because we couldn't move pick 23 to 12 this all fell over - how stupid are you???

If what he was saying was true, something would have still happened without pick 12

If I drive away people who are full of ..it then I have no problem with that whatsoever

I hope they're level headed, mate. The last thing we want is our blokes stuffing things up just to settle a score. Two words: Kevin Sheedy.

not suggesting they get their eyes crossed & bugger things up, but we need to keep an eye on those overinflated aints for a while... maybe jack steven wants out some day.

we should be angry about it, its us against the rest. time to stop being the One getting screwed.

1 more year. GWS have about 5 or 6 of their best players all OOC next year, including Shiel, Cameron and Treloar. It'll be open season if they have another poor season (here's hoping they can't score goals without their precious forward line intact).

GCS lost their coach after 4 years because they missed finals. The fallout will be worse for GWS.

we must have close 2 million spare in the cap next season

We are all disappointed we didnt land a big fish this trade period but the reality is none were really available

We must win close to 10 games and show we are truly on the way up in 2015 and we will land a big fish or 2

I've a feeling next year will be a doozy.. very competative right thru the H&A season for all teams, until mathematically impossible to make the 8, then it will reverse back downhill for all outsiders.

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
