Will stand by the rest of what I've said earlier in regards to Danger but in regards to the Toump, I think I've said he is homesick. His preference is to go back home. I can still see a deal being done with the Crows with the Toump included.

Jarred Lyons?

Jarred Lyons?

almost warrant a straight swap on its own ??

I know the player sponsor for Toumpas. He hasn't mentioned anything of this supposed homesickness.

He thinks Toumpas is an extremely confident young man who will back himself to come good.

Your second sentence is very confusing.

I'm not sure if you're attempting to be humorous or if it's serious?

I have a headache.

Sorry for the false alarm. Just a silly attempt at humour.

I really don't want Toumpas to be traded.

Great, I hope he is right.

Pick No.3 and either Jimmy Toumpas or Jack Trengove for Patrick Dangerfield. Chance of it happening is close to zilch. Chance of it being discussed at a list management meeting is very high. - Peter Ryan

Back: Jetta, Dunn, Garland/Frost

Halfback: Lumumba, T Mac, Grimes

Midfield: Bernie, Tyson, Cross

Half-forward: Howe, Dawes, Kent

Forward: Salem, Hogan, Pedersen/Watts

Rovers: Gawn/Jamar, Jones, Dangerfield

Bench: Viney, Trengove, JKH/Toumpas

Sub: Stretch

Not looking too shabby if we can pull this off

Dare I say, Top 8?

I'm a strong chance to indulge in sexual activity tonight!

Not the sort of strong positive info they are looking for! Is it with anyone else?

Ok I need someone with solid positive news to post here.

We have met with Danger. The meeting was positive. Mahoney has come out in the media referring to what we would trade based on those conversations. We are waiting for Danger to say those magic words ' I want to play with the MFC'

Obviously not sharing that info with his sponsor. Nor would I!

When is the cut off for him to give us an answer as we don't want to be caught short with negotiating other trades when he says no?

Doing better than me.

The mail I have on the Toump as that he is happy as larry living in Melbourne and he has 110% bought into the club. He, Viney and Hogan have had conversations about how they - together - want to bring MFC back up to where it used to be.

Tom Harley was reported to have said to two melbourne supporters off the cuff: 'So I hear you have Dangerfield.'

That could mean he has inside mail or he is being a smart alec while his old team picks our dying carcass. Make of it what you will.

With his own hand doesn't count though?

Chanting Dangerfield?

Having sex with someone you love. Very commendable.

It would be all over the media already if the word on Danger was out, don't you think?

Lets hope you/him are on the money though NSC.

He supports Melbourne. that is unlikely.

Im getting nothing now days. Im thinking Tom was probably being a smart alec.

As much I would love to have a gun like him.... It want happen....

How many other good players good we get with picks 2 & 3?

I still believe we need to invest in young talent, hawthorn bit the bullet & traded away experience to get kids...

We need to have a long term plan....giving away the farm is dangerous....I'm starving for success ... Born in 64 & yet to see a flg... Rather wait for another 4-5yrs & build a premiership club!

Good clubs continue to build their lists... No short cuts..

Danger is a 24 year old superstar. How is that a shortcut to anything but being better, quicker, for longer???

There's no-one on this site that hasn't wished for that!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
