The quote hear from Roosey doesnt surprise given the whispers around.

so if we might expect some trade surprises this off season anyone dare to speculate? Presume contract status may not be decisive?

The three 't's' from SA heading home? Watts to pies?

Surely 2 of the T's will be staying put, their value is low low low at the moment. Tapscott though, he can go wherever or be de-listed.

I'd suggest this comment is for the opposition teams, Roos doesn't want them to think we wouldn't trade a McDonald or a Grimes or someone like that, if the right offer comes,

if like earlier reports suggested we could net another 2-3 top 30 picks i'd be pretty happy to rebuild through the draft, assuming we have picks 2, 3 and 21 already in the bank and Stretch sneaking in at 39

If you're not a true key position player and are not a midfielder then you are in strife I think. Howe, Watts, Grimes spring to mind for the right value. I expect Toumpas and Trengove potential upside versus trade value will see them retained.

I think we should be targeting and essendon player and an Adelaide player. They need to buy back into the first round and we've got some nice picks to play with. My hunch is we are going after Sloane again which would give the toumpas/trengove rumours some substance. Sure Adelaide would hate to lose him but 2 years out of the first round will have ramifications down the track.

We went hard for Sloane last year and supposedly came close, but he's next in line for the captaincy with Patty you'd think.

Can we just trade them all our picks (minus Stretch) for Sloane, Tex and Dangerfield? I could live with that! :)

Rory Sloanes 100th was celebrated big time at Upwey Tecoma today. Hardwick and Rory are the only 2 100 game AFL players from there.

It would be a big surprise to Rorys mum and dad who just moved to Glenelg beach if he came "home".

But I expect this wish to raise its head every year, just shows how good he is and what a F### wan%er big Barry Prendergast was when he promised the family Rory was going to MFC with a late 1st round pick. he took 3 stooges and blatantly lied to a close knit family who were shocked at the time.

These names blister one's tongue.

Would not be surprised if all of them are up for trade! Funnily enough, I think Trenners might be the only one I hope we keep. I just think if this recent foot op solves his speed and acceleration, we could have a star in a few years.

I'd say based on NSCs OP and his inside knowledge that Watts is all but gone! I'd take any 1st round pick, possibly early 2 nd round!

I hope we have 15 new faces next year.

Key word in that sentence is "rumour".

Arbitrary/interchangeable words include Watts, Collingwood, Sidebottom ... substitute "any player" and "any club".

Nope, the key word in that sentence is 'Facebook'.

Would GWS take pick 3 for Jonathan O'rourke and Adam Tomlinson? Assuming we get pick 3 for Frawley. Both players are not an automatic selection in GWS's top 22, home factor may help.

Posted

They would take that to the bank. You don't need to offer that much. Orouke's currency is now down to a mid 20s pick.

Saw on facebook also St kilda considering trading pick 1 for O Rourke/Jaksch combo

That sums up everything on Facbook then

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
