I don't care about the score. I just want to see 22 committed players who are prepared to put their body on the line and make a contest. Last week's performance was the most disgraceful performance by a team I have ever seen, and I just want them to have a go.

I don't care that we will lose, but I am really looking forward to this game if for no other reason than to see how they respond to their attrocious effort last week.

Well Wallabies game day is as poor as the Dees. The ABS are just amazing, especially the defence of theirs.

Oh along with the fact our skills are as precise as Melb's. paid professionals dropping simple passes, looking up worried about the AB's tackles.. So poor.

Gee wonder if Channel seven will show our game live or choose that boring Haw vs Geel game.

Easiest decision the channel has ever made, and they would have made that decision before the start of the season. No-one wants to watch our game, not even us.

Salem is the starting sub with Nic Nat a late withdrawal. Might keep the margin under 10 goals.

Couple a reds and 4 sausages in a roll ( quality ) in and the girlfriend has laid a gluttony acusation on me . 2 more to eat at half time when we are 23 points up . Only a win will do .

Making me hungry! My tally is 3 stubbies, couple of glasses of white so far while cooking dinner (chicken) before I switch to the reds a little later.

wait so Nic Nat is out and replaced by a small speedster, and we didnt take an emergency over in case something like this happened?

Ridiculous

Obviously a gourmand.

Drinking the whites makes me suspicious of you bjD. Definitely from Borewood.

Nachos and rum is going down very well.

Can't guarantee it will stay down once I start watching the footy!!

Thats why I said I was cooking chicken. Haven't you seen that 007 movie where Bond says "I knew you were a spy when you ordered chianti with fish"? Got to get the selections right with the food, but red is the colour of choice. Borewood is full of semillon sauvignon blanc latte sipping soft kocks.

Excellent assessment!!

Ha, if only our players can kick and hit a target (other than straight to the opposition), it could have been a masterstroke.

Is the match on Melbourne radio [or only Fox 3]?

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
