Lose every home game in a season.

Last side to do this was Fitzroy in their dying days of 1995 when they could only beat St Kilda and Adelaide as away games.

WELL DONE DEES!!!

For the record our 4 wins have been against:

Carlton (MCG away game)

Adelaide (Adelaide Oval)

Richmond (MCG away game)

Essendon (MCG away game)

Interestingly, these are the results when we've worn our clash jumper this year:

St Kilda - 17 point loss

Carlton - 23 point win

Adelaide - 3 point win

Essendon - 1 point win

Port Adelaide - 3 point loss

MCG is our home ground and we won 3 games there so its an irrelevant stat

It's hardly an irrelevant fact that somebody paying to attend our 11 home matches would have witnessed a grand total of 0 wins for the season.

Do you reckon that somebody might think he had received value for his dollars and time, or that he might find something else to do next year?

4 wins, 69%

Ongoing slide in form. Total incapacity to score. Breathtaking mental fragility.

Paul Roos is simply not earning his money.

There. I said it.

Obviously we just need to wear our clash jumper every game next year and we'll play finals!

Given the task at hand, he probably deserves more. It is not Paul Roos that is not earning his money, but there are those recently departed from the club, that should pay some of theirs back.

It is important as memberships for future years can be made and lost on these home games. A 3 game member may upgrade if he or she can see a win or two when they go. I'm a redleg 11 game member and I went to stuff all home games this year because of terrible time slots and then got bored of seeing this rabble play. I'll downgrade to a 16 game open air membership next year as I assume most of our games will be on at 440 Sunday as we don't deserve to play at any other time.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
