if there was any more proof needed as to Paul Roos genius just look at what hes done with Cameron Pedersen

Absolutely, he gives the players self belief, something they've lacked for years.

Got to love Roosy, he's restored my faith in the club.

Jamar early , Viney wow . Dawes hard . Pederson . Jkh . And my boy Wattsy is learning . Everyone and well done . Roos sensational . I said we would win . Crows are poor on paper imo and we have been building . Roos is the man from a player management angle and game plan / match day .

Condescending commentry on fox / lack of knowledge and at first look the umpiring .3 free kicks end to end . Seriously .

Party time .

He gets a hell of a lot of ball in tight spaces where it's really hard to spot. He's often the first one with hands on it getting a quick short pass out to one of the other mids.

Yer that's what I thought - he doesn't strike me as a hard in kind of player though (obviously not as obvious as a Viney who just plows through like a bulldozer).

Is Dom is good.

Both Howe n Watts redeemed themselves without setting the world on fire! Whilst I would not have been surprised to see either dropped, it's great that Roosy had faith in both lads. Both were involved in pivotal moments I'm the match! JKH and Jet were outstanding, 2 guys I didn't expect to see in our best on. Sensational win boys!

Trying to think of who played badly or didn't do their role today!

Literally go across the team and think.

Frawley obviously struggled with possibly an injury and a gun opponent in Talia. Jones not amazing but stood up when needed. And Watts was hindered. But besides from that I can only think of one player who wasn't playing great footy. And that's Byrnes!

So Demonland blew a fuse after the win!!!

Bloody fantastic.

The boys were on today.

Best game Frank Grimes has played in years.

Dawesy.

Dom Tyson stepped up when it counted.

12 years between wins over there

Drinks are flowing tonight.

We beat those biased umpires!

I almost smashed a $20,000 TV at work today!! It was close...

Go Demons.

Roosy.

PJ will be smiling tonight.

Negatives I guess

- Potential injuries to Jones, Frawley, Georgiou, Jetta (?cramp) and Viney might be penalised for playing football the way it should be played.

Melbourne coach Paul Roos was understandably thrilled by the result.

"I was excited after the game, I love winning and I don't like losing," Roos said.

"I'm really pleased for the players and pleased for the staff and pleased for the footy club because it's been really tough.

"The coach has got to enjoy it as well as the players because obviously there's been a lot of downs…I'm very excited, I thought it was a terrific win."

Come on Paul join us for a few more years.

We made 2 great decisions in getting Roos and PJ. Now they are making good decisions.

Next we need Jason Taylor to make very good decisions.

I think Al Clarkson would have something to say about that, but our guy is right up there. We're not easy beats anymore.

We kicked their butt. A bit too hard at the ball for them, me thinks ... Total football - Roos style. Great teamwork all over the ground.

JKH has got a huge upside - no limits for this young bloke. Vince was immense, so many other contributors but Terlich was as cool as a cucumber. Watts was much improved, Pederson stood his ground, Dawes led the forward line, Bail played like he belonged, Viney is as tough as teak.

So many good players and no passengers ... a great team effort. Roos ... the master at work - worth every cent.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
