Innaresting there's no changes at all to last week's team. Roos certainly likes to give his players every chance to show something. Let's hope they repay him for the faith he is showing in them.

In regards to byrnes,i believe his performance, in relativity, merits another game.

I'll assume the common hate given would be from what spectators remember - his errors in some vital ball movement on the wings. that'll leave a bad taste in any supporters mouth.
What i do question however is Bail's role atm.
I have always wanted bail to succeed, he started his career on the wing going forward. But the abilities he does possess are not being utilised (by himselfor the club). He has great endurance and is willing to have a crack at goal but is raw in many areas. I would like to see him given solid time in the vfl and the coaches shape him into something incredibly useful. There are plenty of players who can come into the side in his place.
Maybe inject some aggro in him and become a permanent pain in the buttocks tagger?

All eyes will be on frawley this weekend, coming off a poor round. he'll have to deal with LeCras...

I expect the same forward 50 rubbish this round, so i would love to see Blease break out of the packs and have a crack at goal.

We should have no designated forwards instead all backs, we have had trouble with forwards for years so if they were all classed as back men then the footy gods wouldn't know which ones to strike down.

Last week they obviously deemed Pedo and Byrnes not worthy of being striked down (wish they had been)

I think Bail is well ahead of Byrnes.

Bail has speed, endurance and the ability to tackle and go in hard (you can't question his effort). Bail has also had good quality games - can't say the same for Byrnes. Byrnes can't really provide anything in the midfield.

Bail had 22 touches and 7 inside 50's last week.

Byrnes had 14 touches and 0 inside 50's.

Without Key talls the forward line must apply lots of defensive pressure - small forwards like Bail and Byrnes should be laying at least 4 tackles. That's something I think really hurts us - the forwards need to show more desperation.

I don't think it's the job of the forward pocket to necessarily get the ball inside 50 unless he's instructed to roam far and wide.

I know Byrnes isn't considered a fashionable footballer and he hasn't lived up to our expectations as a damaging forward goalsneak but he did kick a couple of goals last week while some of our other forwards were found wanting.

You wouldn't expect him to be in our best 22 by the end of the year but if our injury list is up to about 10 players in real terms (and many are forwards of some sort) then it's more than likely that he's going to be selected.
