GAME DAY - ROUND 1

Have been a member for over 10 years now and only in my twenties. Hardly a fairweather supporter. But enoughs enough. Only so much people can take and this is my limit. Too many passengers in this team and it's not good enough.

First game under Roos, have fought the game out, no forward line, 2 players out of game....

Give them time

And we do need fairweather supporters. We really do. I know im not the only one who didn't just jump on board again this year because of a messiah coach and a practice match win over richmond. Fairweather supporters are exactly what melbourne need right now and a win tonight would have gone a long way in securing that.

Had a couple but Frawley has been shite tonight. If there's a bad option he'll take it.

Got shut down pretty well as a response for Q1- expected. Dont think they can keep it up

Kicked back because of injuries to the forwardine - expected.

Not the end of the world. Expecting a big last half for us.

Never have I been so wrong

First game under Richardson. No midfield, two first round draft picks with no AFL experience? Give who time? Us or them?

Salem instead of Dunstan? another recruitment blunder?

What a waste of [censored] time this footy club is

Is it too early to start a 2014 Draft Thread?

What a surprise another loss in round 1. God I hate being a demons supporter at the moment. Best of Luck Roosy you'll need it mate

6-15.

Bring me grey goose vodka.

NOW.

I actually killed a bottle with some kates watching the game. Finished it off halfway through the 4th

Wow that was a terrible game. So many skill errors and we panicked big time!! Had no counter for the Saints extra man and press in defence. We really needed Howe and Fitz to stand up and kick 5 goals between them...

Just not sure what people were expecting. Unrealistic much?

exciting news our % is the highest its been for over a year

Yeah, Salem was shithouse tonight.

Salem is not ready. Dunstan is. I am sick of these project players.

We have been woeful for years, the players played the game out. Riewoldt was big for them, put A key forward in for us it would have been different.

We had more scoring shots, we choked. If you can't see improvement over the crud we have served up over the last few years, you should give up.

Both teams went hard, something we haven't done for a long time
