GAME DAY - ROUND 1

Not only are we watching the loss of the game - we are watching the loss of 5,000 members who won't re-sign!

Has Rohan Bail ever been anwhere near the 50 metre arc and NOT taken a shot for goal. Pass it off, son!

At least wait until J.Viney rolls out before making such a call.

wattsup just seems to be another "heartless" supporter.

Being two men down and totally bereft of scoring power, I can't see us winning this. In fact, I can't see us winning too much at all this year.

Damn that was a hard finish to the quarter. Well done to the team to stop the scoring, but we needed to use the chances at the other end. Imagine what this will look like with a couple of tall forwards up there.

I'll regret this comment but Frawley needs to have less flock ups before shopping himself around.

Honestly who is our 1 player to stand up when we need it?

Dunn, Watts, Jones

the quality of the football is so bad, but at least the intensity was up in the last 10 of that quarter.

watts, toumpas, vince, trengove pretty unsighted in that quarter.

i don't think we can run over the top of them as we simply don't look anything like quick enough.

i'm still on the saints by 20, unfortunately. was hoping i'd be proved wrong, but it really doesn't look it.

Under 20 points at 3/4 time. That's new. The opposition is weak, and we should be winning if we took our chances. I just don't see this as heartless and pathetic. I think we have s good game plan and when we get a few back we'll be OK

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
