I often miss out on getting it as I dont buy the paper every day.

So, thought I'd be pro-active this year and call the HS, to see when exactly ours would be featuring so I could make a point of getting the paper. They told me it'd be this coming Thursday (20th)

Just thought I'd pass on incase anyone else is interested.... :)

Raced down to the Newsagency at lunch time, eagerly anticipating picking up the HS with the Dees poster in it. You can therefore understand my extreme disgust at being greeted by a dirty big poster of the Bummers!!!

Anyone know when the Melb Poster is REALLY making its appearance?? Or (perish the thoughyt), have I missed it??

Was in today's with the cats on the back. Not in the centre of the paper though. Gotta dig through a bit

Yeah there were 4 posters today.

The one in the middle of the paper had Bombers on one side and North on the other.

The other (not in the centre as mentioned) has us on one side and Geelong on the other.

Rohan Bail gets the "silly look on my face" award this year.

Is that right? I just looked in the middle, and threw it back on the pile in digust. Now gotta high-tail it down there again, in the hopes there's still a copy left, as they don't carry many in my local Ashore Newsagency!

Thanks for the heads-up, guys!

Just back. A single copy left in the Newsagent, obediently waiting for me to walk in and pick it up! Phew! That was close...

Funny.... Same thing happened to me a few years ago when they were giving out the team stickers with the paper.

The lady behind the counter handed over about 6 Demons stickers as soon as mentioned I was actually a Melbourne supporter.

Mum was pleased when I handed them on to her.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast

It’s game day and the Demons return to Melbourne to play the Eagles at the MCG for the first time in over a decade. A win keeps the Dees finals hopes alive whereas a loss will almost certainly slam the finals window shut.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well
