that's all...

I would literally get naked and run down the street singing it's a grand old flag if Jesse Hogan talks the club up and says contract extension talks have started

Hope you don't live near me.

What is this crap!? HOGAN is injured and SALEM hasn't even played a game but yet they're WASTING THERE tik tik tik on the TELE!?!?

WTF111?

Obviously tonights Footy Show will feature Paul Hogan appearing live in Salem Massachusetts to provide a insight into the perils of crowd induced hysteria and the unfortunate side effects of jumping to conclusions based on unfounded accusations.

"I accuse Goody Schwab (or insert your preferred witch here)!"

Bah, I have watched 2 mins, Crawford already makes me want to shoot myself and I've muted it.

I can't even stand it on mute.

Please tell me what was said or link that segment if available.

Yes glad we are trying to keep a low profile with these young kids. Hogan and Salem haven't played a game yet. I would rather we kept them under wraps.

did they ask Hogan if he may play round 1?

I am not turning that show on even for a second

I would love to hear from Hogan and Salem. The problem as I see it, is that I would have to watch the footy show. Sorry lads.

Salem looked surprisingly solid. Hogan said he is hoping to be back round 2 or 3 but can't lock anything in because they don't know

Hogan maybe round 2 or 3 just have to wait and see

Cripps is a beast too.

After seeing both next to Garry, Cripps is almost as big as Hogan.

Lyon almost as awkward as the draftees themselves.

Who needs TV or radio when u have Demonland.

As an interstater its priceless.

Thanks guys and gals for the updates.

Salem - played is first game at Casey at wing/half back

- Training up forward getting some mentoring from Byrnes

- Gaz will be down to give him his jumper on debut

- Doesn't think he's as hairy as Gaz

Hogan

- Hopefully back round 2 or 3 but no guarantees

- had a tight back before Geel game but after the game was too sore to train

- has moved in with Dean Kent

- Joked poor mrs Viney got sick of feeding them all but really the Vineys were doing renovations

Overall nothing of much note. Both spoke well enough for young guys with limited media experience

I heard talk Cripps was about 191cm pre draft but now has shot up even more to about 194cm.

Probably now a question whether he's too tall to be a midfielder. At the minimum I'd advise Carlton to take a long time with him. Midfield minutes in that big a frame could result in injury

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
