Bloody fantastic

Bloody hell --- JKH !!!!!!!

Hey! I remember that song. They should play it more often.

Wowee! I am in shock! Without our forwards I thought we were gonna get done by atleast 4 goals! Paul Roos take a bow tonight! JKH what a freak! A completely different side then last year!

Go Dees!

In addition to being a killer small forward, he also talks really well. I love this kid.

Just a lovely feeling, even though can't feel much at the moment, it still feels good!

If you think so.

But I will go as far as saying our I would back Chip, Tom M, and Garland against Riewoldt, Vickery and co. We now have some midfield depth and should give Tigers a run for their money. Vince and Cross add toughness and class. There's every chance Richmond will take us lightly. Let's be the aggressor from the opening bounce. We will have a make shift forward line, so let's mix it up and see what happens. I know the Tigers have a knack of beating Hawthorn but they are overrated. If your mentally beaten before the opening bounce don't bother running out.

HELLO.......HELLO......

Some hope has cometh!

445 to 262 diposals our way. Wow.

Vince and Cross combine for 58 disposals

And when was the last time Trengove had 29 touches?

Whoo , Oh yeah, I remember that theme song again

Edited by Rob Mac......

Bernie Vince also looks like an awesome bloke. Night and day between guys like him and guys like Brent Moloney and Colin Sylvia.

No Watts, Garland, Clark, Dawes and Hogan. Me and big Kev are excited!

How's the way us losers have another Jeff Farmer on our hands !!!!!!!!!!!!

And we won at Etihad.

And Nathan Jones was not our highest possession getter.

The world has gone crazy.....

It might have been said earlier in this thread, but KB today said Richmond would win by 20 goals. Yes, he's a troll, but I'm still glad he looks like a tool now.

445-262 possessions,

Vince 32 pos,

Trengove 29 pos 1 goal,

Cross 26 pos...

Highest possession earner on the Tigers side was 21... we had 9 players who had more than that!

I know possessions aren't everything, but we have not shown anything remotely that competitive for YEARS!

JKH is a star in the making!

We have a new club to support.

Go Demons.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
