NAB Challenge 1 - Richmond v Melbourne

He's Pedo, maybe even Pedo Bear. Just embrace it, there's no changing it now.

Why?

Not cast in concrete that I know of to date.

Once the players christen a nickname that's it. There's nothing more lame than some single supporter on the internet trying to push a different nickname.

I could say the same to you!

Huh? I'm not changing it, Pedo is what he gets called at training by the players.

And 'Pedo-bear'?

Really? Reeeeeeally? You're going to quote all that but not the bit where I explained to you that "Pedo Bear" was clearly a joke.

Are lacking humour or comprehension? Not sure which would be worse, could even be both,

You are the one lacking comprehension, stuie.

I was referring to your 'pedo-bear' joke in the sense that you made that nickname for him, ironic because you then said that fans making nicknames for players is 'lame' - at which old dee pointed that you made 'pedo-bear', to which you then denied, at which point I made my post.

The rest is unfortunate history.

You really are struggling pal.

His nickname is "Pedo". Like it or not, that's what the players call him. I added in a JOKE that you might make it "Pedo Bear".

The rest is your own confusion while tripping over yourself trying to have a crack at me.

Let it go.

I love it when you get on here and tangle yourself in knots and then you give your obligatory "I'm dancin, you be trippin" post.

I was just explaining why OD and myself made the posts we did - you are the one jumping down throats.

Haha ok mate, whatever you need to tell yourself.

You've got "Barndee" liking your posts now, so that shows you the level you're at.

Given the tall forwards and rucks we will have missing friday, I would play Georgiou down back for part of the game and throw Dunn forward and let Pedersen help in the ruck with young King.

If Spencer plays about 50-60% of the game the other two can cover the balance in a manner of speaking.

It sounds like we could have more than 10 players out. I think I predicted that to a few mates late last year, as being what normally happens with the Dees.

I wonder if I got it right.

I think Roos will leave Dunn back if that's where he see's him playing this year. He seems to want to create some stability in the playing group and has told each of them what is expected from them. If he is a core player which I'm assuming he is then he will stay back even if an argument could be made for this game to move him forward.

The bigger picture.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
