Do you remember a couple of years ago when the Bummers wore them in a few away games against Richmond?

Talk about a terrible 80s throwback...

It was like our light blue abortion or Boy George; something from another time that should be left for the pens of historians and the amazement of time travellers.

Yep, the pool man in his red shorts...

That's it. No red shorts.

Not sure if anyone watched the Super bowl today but IMO it demonstrates the stupidity of the argument about white jumpers being for clash reasons.

The NFL has for some time had Teams wear their traditional jumper for home games and a basically white one for the away team.

So the result today in the GF of American Football is Denver in their 90% orange and Seattle in a white one with Blue and green trimmings.

Nice contrast.

But where is the clash in Denver in Orange and Seattle in Blue and Green.

As in AFL it is about Television first, second and third.

Fans Bad last.

Sound familiar ?

so what is the benefit for tv od?

i'd have thought tv clashes would be on the bottom of the clash reason pile

I will withdraw if a tv person says they don't want it dc.

My information is that the whole subject is driven by the TV industry

yes, yes, i've heard the same thing too od

i just don't get it....must be thick

a tv is the clearest way to watch a game of football these days

even go to a game and when the action is on the far side people turn to the big screen

Not me but the majority say it is easier to see if one side is in basic white.

I guess the biggest part of this "majority" are the theatre goers.

must be them who don't really care about the traditional element of the clubs.

No DF Green is not my go.

No membership of that lot for me.

I would not wear Green stuff or yellow and green.

Australian sporting colours rate about 1 out of 100 for me.

Where is the above coming from?

What would motivate one into such an act?

And it looks terrible...

Internet

No Idea but I suspect lots of drugs and alcohol was used

Totally agree

Given that "clash jumpers" do appear here to stay (unless a club has a drug program, it seems) the white one used at Friday's intraclub looks the best we have had so far.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
