Just need to email that to his old man.

Bernie did say his folks were impressed with Roos and Viney both contacting them, why not Beelzbub from Demonland as well haha

Well, No!

I guess I will have to now LOL

you'll understand then :)

your right it is nab cup

that's when the softies come out of the woodwork and make predictions about us

r'o'o's will make the nab cup his final prep for the season proper

so I hope fellow demonlanders don't get overawed by his selections and only rely on the real stuff to see where our improvement is

you'll understand then :)

I do now.

LOL

sorry MF all the way, Case is alright but because it took on IH, JD was always too yankie.

His description of what Adelaide thought of his future will worry some Dees supporters if they take that at face value; Vince said that Sanderson and co. explained he had zero chance of getting another contract after 2014.

Suspect that all this happened because a) Vince would be FA next year, so worth nothing for them if they waited and b) they were desperate to get into the draft, and Vince was one of the few non-core players they could let go who has any currency.

As you said, good deal for us, and if he can continue to average 20+ possessions a game for the next couple of years, will have proved a handy addition.

Ok, from the highlights, definitely a very good kick, looks like he has decent vision too. Obviously that's harder to conclude from just a short video.

I must say it - Aaron Davey's kicking, when on song it was without question the most beautiful kick in football. Even looked different as the ball 'flowed' through the air and dropped right where it was meant to. Could be so perfect it would make a mathematician smile softly.

Hmm...

Is anyone else feeling a little less bitter about all the 'not-quite-great' players we've had in the last ten years? I think I just detected my first inner glimmer of real positivity for the future.

I feel like this can be set up as a charitable foundation.

Yes there is a glimmer, isn't there. I feel better coming in to this season than I have since 2007, but that lasted for about a quarter.

Hopefully this will last a bit more and for the first time since swooper I think we are in good hands.

I know Neale got us to a GF but I never thought we had a chance of winning it.

Well known to be a party boy, and that photo is from 2012.

Teams that work hard and play hard still beat the team that only play hard and probably enjoy their work a lot more than the team that only works hard.

Not sure if it's been posted already and too lazy to check but...

It's all off-field stuff and fairly trivial but could be somewhat interesting because it's the guy we recruited with the pick we got for Sylvia.

He's quick with his hands!

The big fellas taste could be a bit iffy though

At least he is doing tackling training during the off season

He clearly puts his head over the ball, and does the team oriented stuff.

They're both hard ball gets. Risks injury there.

I'd be more concerned if they were a couple of Trannies and he was after fashion advice.

Nothing wrong with that image. Good looking bloke, good looking girls. Not a red blooded poster on here who doesnt have a little envy! Importantly, if he plays better than Sylvia has, we will be in front. In the end, that's what we'll judge him by.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
