Of course we'd be "into" Conca.

There wouldn't be a decent young midfielder we're not courting. Getting players over the line will be the hard part.

Agree. Tigers would want overs in a trade, as they would feel hurt and would need to act tough for members.

PSD would be our bargaining chip.

if GWS get Buddy, spending the rest of their $40m salary cap and Conca says it is here or back home only, then GWS may not be in a position to spoil the party. Of course a deal for say Adams and Miles could make this a certainty as well from their point of view.

The major problem will be getting Conca to say I am off to the Dees.

Gee I'd love him on our list but that definitely seems too much. 450k a year is huge. We still need to have enough cap to target players such as Adams, Selwood and Swallow.

They paid Davey $440000 per year!

Was just about to say that.

Davey would have freed up a lot of space but that does not mean we should go and make ridiculous offers.

However considering we have cap room and will need to pay above market price for players - I guess we can front load contracts (like Clark).

If we can get some good players into the club and show some real improvement next year we won't have to pay overs.

This is where we sit Swallow, Adams, Conca and Cross in a room together, tell them they can earn decent coin and together form a decent midfield instantly. The key positions are in place for them.

If we land 2-3 of the above we may still win 16 games, bearing in mind that there are still other positions on the list that Roos will fill astutely.

So you are saying that if we got Adams and Cross we might be able to win 16 games. Wow.

Get Conca, right age, right skill set.

Richmond have stated they will be looking to bolster their ruck stocks, Jamar and 2nd round pick (19 or possibly priority pick 18) could get this deal done

Source please? Enough with the hearsay

Heard from one of my customers who is a huge financial backer of the Tigers. However with Martin going it will come to nothing!

Sorry precious but hate to point out a fact to you, but to say everyone is creaming our pants about him is just ridiculous, the thread is probably a month old, see much activity for him??

I started the thread, show me where I am disappointed or critical of Trenners.

As is so often the case the hero that jumps in and makes broad generalisations just makes himself look like a moron...

Actually that wasn't what I was saying [as you no doubt are aware]! I was referring to three if Cross was one and if Conca stays with the Tigers, I guess that is the same total of who we may be able to entice

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
