Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Sacking James Hird would be outrageous says QC

Burnside now hopping into it.

you mean Burnside who called James Hird "heroic"?

FMD what a dead set moron Burnside is. As for Hird believing in those that are paid to tell him what he wants to hear.

If ASADA told him and he told EFC, that is a criminal offence. If he assumed it was EFC and told them, not a criminal offence.

Anyone know if he was obliged to be completely silent on what ASADA told him, regardless of them not specifying a particular club? His defence would imply he wasn't obliged to say nothing.

It was not ASADA, it was the ACC. Their investigations are protected by Law.

Whatever they want to do in the longer term, they couldn't do anything now just because of Ms Hird's show. Burnside is right on that.

Not without any expensive legal discomfort. They already have enough of that and there is possibly more to come.

I do enjoy the discomfort Hird is giving Little. Serves him right for backing a dud horse.

They should both tango out of the Club

My bad. But what is the answer to my question Redleg?

Herald Sun article:-

Stephen Dank insists no Essendon player will receive infraction notices over 2012 supplements program

Speaking at a football club fundraiser at Crown, the former Essendon sports scientist said he did not inject banned drugs into any player and that the club had a detailed list of which player took what.

He said every drug/supplement was “very well managed and documented’’ and that the supplement program was known by everyone in the football department.

Tweet from Seb Costello at the Riddells Creek Football Club function:-

Stephen Dank says Essendon players were aware of what they were taking and maintains it was not his understanding that AOD was banned.

Nail.

Coffin.

Not surprised and wouldn't say they squibbed it

start of the season,

Fletcher breaks club games record

That should be the focus, Hird has shown how selfish he is I think the Bombers have just deferred things for a while, this matter will be dealt with in time

You may well be right but I also have a suspicion they just cant bring themselves to lower the guillotine on their shiny shiny lad...

Without doubt its a mighty call for this lot.

Hird is safe... until next week

No chance the board would drop that massive bombshell hours before their first game of the season

Gives them a few more days to work out the legal side of things, and hopefully work out a way to tear up his contact without paying him out

He will be gone by Tuesday, and good riddance to the scumbag

Just like with Neeld. Its all in the timing.

maybe tanya is modelling herself on Zarah Garde-Wilson

sounds like it.

its time I think that james stood up, & took control from her. she's wearing his pants for him.

actually she has that alluring sort of look about her?

and then she opens her mouth and im just put off completely.

back to my pictures of steffi graff on the dairy wall.

thats what the 'Mute' button's for. its the tania button. just press

The wife has just finished the career of James.

Why has she spoken?

It is just bizzare!!

their realising he's got buckley's chance of getting back into the top job, so; >

they want an extension of 18 months in France,,, & spending money, in Swiss francs?

I can see that oneday hirds statue will be made of pigmetal, & support all pigeons.

Edited by dee-luded

it would not surprise me one bit if old tania is just repeating what james has been telling her.

"no darling i didnt go to the pub last night"

--> "james didnt go to the pub last night, he cant possibly have failed a breath test"

failed a breath test? ask the super model... apparently she did the testing.

failed a breath test? ask the super model... apparently she did the testing.

Have I missed something here? Breath testing?

Could be.

Makes CEO Little look like an absolute buffoon if they pull it off.

Maybe The Golden Boy went to France to find a Bunker to live in. He may need it.

I think Little is trapped in a crack, between a Rock & a Hird place... at the bummers, thats a stinkin' gig. :)

edit for laughs :cool::rolleyes:

geez its nice to scoff at another club...can't wait for 2016.

Maybe someone from ASADA and someone from Worksafe bought tickets to attend the event and take notes...

you can bet someone did for just such an outcome

What's wrong with that?

he's been wearing 'next to nothings'. its making my Aussie maleness sweat....

how much for the boy! how much for the boy, gimme the boy

Bummers footy Dept' meeting, 'Episoda 9', around the the time of the MOJO supplements imp lement ation, starring nurse Dark, & the dannk Professor, good 'Evans, plus mini 'me' hurd for hire, & ASSaDA the Giant!

Not in Switzerland. Still Swiss francs. Same as it ever was.

Does the blonde bimbo work at a "recognised" law firm? I wouldn't think that any partner wherever she works would be very impressed by her latest foray.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
