Just wondering how far people are prepared to back the club if it chooses to sack mr neeld.

Posted

I got asked to tip in more money recently and I am holding off to see what happens. Will renew memberships but want to see tangible improvement across the board within 12 months before they get money on top of my memberships.

Zero confidence in Neeld. Change must occur.

I'll continue my membership regardless. I'm in the Keep Neeld camp. I'd be more inclined to donate if we kept him because we wouldn't have blown an extra couple of million on paying him out.

Nothing to do with the Coach, re membership for me Now.

I've decided to not financially support the Club, for as long as the club does not support the grass roots supporters..

... to me its a story about being an 'Inclusive' club...

& I'm moving further into the Victorian Countryside, away from the City, & transport to the 'G'.

so I'll be retiring to just being a TV &/or radio supporter...

to me it has to be a Coach who Can & will change the Club culture into an 'all-inclusive', family styled club, & change the onfield character to one of a hard asssed, head over the footy, blue collar footy style, like the Catters or the Swans...

# IF they go & get a Matthews, or a Sheedy, or a Roos, or even a 'Bomba', then I may consider making membership donations to the club, but not for a Clarkson or a Voss, or the like...

As previous said in another post, I would willingly give to any fund for the replacement of the current senior coach.

But still alittle worried about the selection process of finding a new senior coach as it was so flawed last time.

Agree on the first part, but the second part,we will have a different process this time in that we have a CEO that is a proven good decision maker.

Something we haven't had since Jim Caldwell graced the MCG

I hope you are right, its just the MFC has made a mess of the last two coaches, I must admit I lost alot of faith in the process.

NO! New coach meens no new membership.

Won't give money. Will buy another membership for next season. Will vote against the board at the AGM. I think that sums up my stance pretty well.

It's no secret that I want Neeld gone, but I'm willing to back in PJ's judgement whichever way he goes. I'll continue paying up membership regardless, and i'd fly to Melbourne more often to see games once they are worth going to see.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
