Racist joke

O.K.

What do you call a sheep tied to a pole in New Zealand?

Posted

Any thoughts ?

its a shame nobody is taking you seriously, because its actually a brilliant idea for many reasons, including the possibility of new members from the Chinese community

I really hope it happens now

To be honest, he is a bit of a faux supporter but one of the biggest issues we have had over the year is our insular culture and our unwillingness to truly embrace outsiders (Jimmah and Sean Wight aside). John So might be good in helping us dispel the notion that we are a stuffy rich white man's club.

That being said, I think John So was into supporting Melbourne to help John So. I think he had a thing with the Storm as well to say he 'was a big supporter of Melbourne' or some junk like that. The next president needs to be committed and in for the long haul

Is the pole newly arrived in NZ or been living there for a while?

Very drole ,

but I was speaking of the stripping variety of pole.

John would be so good to get.

Polished public performer, successful businessman, media cred.

One query - does he genuinely barrack for us or was that just politically useful as lord mayor?

Jokes aside-I think he would be good for the job.

Good for sponsorship ,good for the club.

Why not.

John So wouldnt be able to name one Melbourne player without the prompting of one of his aides. He was as token a #1 ticketholder as we've

had since Rupert Murdoch back in the 80s.

While he may have been a 'popular' Lord Mayor, that doesnt mean he was good at his job. He managed to surround himself with many a sycophantic

and canny Councillor (Gary Singer,Catherine Ng,Ken Ong et al), and they spent the best part of a decade feathering their collective nests with cushy

deals with overseas developers, as well as raising the salary of City of Melbourne Councillors to all time record highs.

John So? He may be your bro, but for me its a big no.

does John So barrack for Dees? If he wants the job I'm all for it.

Agreed enough of the "inadvertent" comments. Can be offensive if you've copped this your entire life in Australis. Boring and so not funny.

Does that mean Jack Watts jokes are off the list too? So what, you might say.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
