If neeld even bothered to look at our past, he would have realized how important Jurrah and wonamirri were to the spirit of this club. He should of had the empathy and courage to support them thru some serious challenges in their life. It's seems that he made those 2 special indigenous boys feel like pieces of cattle to be disposed of if they don't step into line.

I didn't support the hiring of Bailey, but at least the club was enjoyable to support during his tenure. Neeld has turned it into a north Korean army march.

Those players I mentioned earlier, were the reason why kids follow the demons. You need those blokes to create the spark which ignites the spirit. It was enough to make respectable football professionals to claim we had the players to make the next super team. Look at us now, unbelievable. Unrecognizable. Miserable.

I take it with what you have written, you have absolutely no idea what occurred with Jurrah and Wonna, suggest you need to go and spend some time in indigenous communities, may give you a bit of a better understanding

Also you seem to have a rather skewed view of the military, watched too many movies I suppose, take it from me (15 yrs) that what you say about turning into robots is completely and totally wrong, but hey it doesn't stop you posting does it

I won't attend games not because Neeld is coach but because we suck and are boring to watch (not worth wasting time going to matches and getting depressed)

I second this.

Any man willing to risk his life and invade another country because gwbush and lapdog Howard say so, are in fact brain dead robots.

And yes, I do know a bit about indigenous communities, a

Nd know that those people need to be treated a little bit differently, with a bit more care and understanding. They do not have a strong work ethic. It's a gradual adjustment

I have followed the mighty Red & Blue since 1953 and have held continuous membership for the last 15 years. During that period I have seen some great football teams and some equally horrible ones. I witnessed the greatest coach of all time in Norm Smith and have seen some of the worst since, with the current coach by far the worst of them. After last year's performance I had high hopes only to see a team that is supposedly 25% fitter now losing games by 60% more than in 2012.

I am so disgusted and gutted by their performances this year that I have returned my 2013 membership and will not re-join until Neeld has been removed.

I am not naive enough to realise that it is not all the coach's fault as he is not the one on the ground. But he does not have the players playing for him and whilst they say publicly they support him I think the opposite is true.

According to Shane Wakelin he is an exceptional planner (hmm!) but lacks people skills.

Oh for 2014!

I'm sorry but Neeld did not make him drink or put a machete in his hand.

The club thought they were doing the right thing by allowing him to go home when he really wanted too.

Go home to go to war.

The fact is, we had and loved Wona and Jurrah, now we do not have Wona and Jurrah.

Remember how Farmer wanted to stay home, We managed to get him back.

for two seasons albeit where he was very average and went home anyway....

Seriously, you can lay many many problems at the feet of Neeld but you are out of line with Jurrah and Wona....

I already thought you were a complete numbskull.

If this is truly your view, then you're only adding to that perception.

Boards will come and go.

CEO's will come and go

Coaches & players will come and go

Supporters/Members are the lifeblood and essence of a club.

In many ways sponsors are as well.

You/we/us are, ultimately, why this club exists. I implore every supporter to hang tough and reject not going as a protest. If you just can't stand it anymore and you need a break then fair call. Everyone has their limits. I did it after about round 10 last year and directed my energy towards Casey games as I was letting the on field carp effect me too much at home and needed some time out. We all get bloody angry and frustrated watching this rubbish I understand.

if I could suggest...we all get behind the one shining light that to me has stood tall this year throughout the storm. I've witnessed and heard their efforts personally on 5 occasions so far and they've never let the team down. Even during the hurricane that was 148 against the bummmers they were giving their all right up till early in thd last. And that's some effort guys!!!

Of course I'm talking about the mighty Demon Army! In a year filled with so many lowlights and darkness, the Army has been nothing short of magnificent.

Get behind em guys and rally around. Lets stick together and give them and all the boys as much support as we can. For when the ship is finally righted, those who make it through from this existing playing group are going to do us proud. Lets make sure they remember why they are there and that we continued to back them during our most difficult hours.

Let them know that there's one group in this club that refuses to say die, its die hard supporters! You all know where they are. If you haven't got a reserved seat etc...try and rally round them if you can. Looks great on the replay too if we have more numbers/flags etc in a mass group when the cameras focus in.

Mighty Demons Forever

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
