GAME DAY - Round 9

should be fairly funny when we play geelong or hawthorn

I wasn't able to see the 186, but I saw the first quarter of this and just feel absolutely gutted.

Just empty inside.......totally numbed.

I have followed this team for nearly 60 years, and this is just inept.

I cannot see any future for this club.

We are gone.

A very sad day in my life.

Communications down in melb box. Does this hurt or help us!

Can we get the match abandoned due to unfair circumstances

Which player will get injured or suspended from here on?

should be fairly funny when we play geelong or hawthorn

Not as funny as the 2014 membership count, I am sure that many members have completely given up on this club.

Dunn is done. Throw him back to Casey.

Possibly for Pederson if you're looking for a direct replacement that can't short pass either. The only advantage here is that Pederson might not TRY to short pass as he recognises his limits, whereas Dunn will often try and just give it straight back to the opposition on many occasions. For this reaosn i'd only ever play Dunn up forward so he doesn't really have to look for a short passing option....

And keep nicho, sellar and bail?

Sellar, Bail & Dunn aren't up it. Nicho is worth persevering with, albeit off the bench (maybe as sub) only, at this point. If we wish to continue with Dunn i'd only ever play him i50 as a postential decoy target for Dawes and an occasional i50 mark and goal kicker. Mostly off the bench.

Need to find replacements for all 4 IMO (and others lol)

85-14. 224-124 disposals, how is that even possible in the 2nd qtr?

We're done put a fork in us.

Nothing is what we are.

Laughing stock of competition.

Neeld said five I don't think a decade will resolve this shite.

Anything is possible against the joke of the competition.

I actually feel sorry for Mark Neeld.

Ad I'm going to lose my supercoach cos Gawn has not touched the bloody ball.

He barely touched it last week either. And on the few occasions he did they were rarely effective and in some cases clangers. One of the worst games i've seen by a MFC player.....ever.

I actually feel sorry for Mark Neeld.

No, he brought this on himself.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
