GAME DAY - ROUND 4

Absolute must win game.

I couldn't care less who is playing for Neeld and who isn't. Show some bloody pride. Losing to a depleted GWS at the MCG will be spitting in the face of supporters who have stuck by this rabble. Go out there and WIN.

Imagine what would happen if we put in another weak effort....god i hope we can play like we did for the 1st half last week

I have a feeling that one way or another today is going to be an important one on the club's history.

Not historical in both ways. If we win, even convincingly, the Marvin-the-robots here will say it is of no significance.

Think we're all hoping for a win, but it's pretty clear a win today would not be as big a deal as a loss.

hoping for a belting win.....mentally prepared for a clanger filled shambles and a narrow victory

Agree with you Stuie.... no upside for the club today...

I wouldn't say "no" upside, but very little compared to the possible downside.

Sorry for the negativity in advance as I don't think i'm a half glass empty person. But given how many disappointments this team has dished up recently, I'm preparing myself for the worst as I couldn't handle my optimism taking another battering....

Mitch and Tappy will dominate watts will play well just to keep his threads on here rolling over

Was really excited with his play in the first quarter last week (leading hard into the wing and taking strong overhead marks). Needs to make his mark now!

Davey as a sub is a good strategy IMO

Gawn will be a factor if he stays at FF as selected

An opportunity to kick 5 goals a quarter and win well

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
