What about David Neitz? Why is his name never mentioned as a possible candiate to do something cool for the club? Also they need James McDonald back... as midfield coach?

Love Ox he was the best player Ive seen in the red and blue... never forget the day at Telstra Dome he took out a boundary ump via a freo player (awesome memory haha)

At least the Ox is keen to help GL should take note.

"I love the club and it’s very hard to sit back and see the hurt so many Melbourne supporters are going through," said Schwarz, who co-hosts SEN’s late afternoon show "The Run Home."

Can people just forget about Gary Lyon - its doing my head in. He's not interested and the help he's given us already has resulted in 1 failed coaching experiment and another that looks destined for the toilet. The more we ask people for help that don't have the time or simply do not want to help the more desperate and silly we look. We need people who have the time to devote to the club and will do a great job, not just an ex player for name sake!

I hope Junior Mac and Neitz are next.

Neita is a nice guy, good footballer, sort of shy type.. apparently doing work about the club

Schwarta is a more outgoing type with some flair to take things on head on... this would be very handy now as the club has gone into its shell.

... and he would be great, to have a whisper in Hogans ear as well.

In actual fact we have sacked the likes of Pike, Farmer, and others who were risk takers.... & our failing has been we're too conservative & go into our shells 2 the drop of a 20 cent piece.

We should forget about the all time favourites who have taken us nowhere, & look to the types we perennially crap on.... can I mention a few names we've rejected... Sheedy, Matthews, Pike, Farmer was frowned on, Schwarta was frowned on, Alan Jakovich was also frowned on but we couldn't do without him,...

We as a club have turned our back on many people who could have supplied the Energies & Spirit we Lack...

IMO its the Conservative set up North-MCG, that kill this club.

and Watts

Silk purse's & Sows Ears.....

girls to Men, unlikely.

man to man, he can put some wisdom into a wide eyed talent who's ego may lead him astray along the journey.

anyone who wants to play like a girl, in a Senior mans League, deserves the respect of that.

no more wasted talents.

I don't know the inside word of it, but I got a distinct feeling that he was on the outer for some time, before he finally ended up over West... its time these things stopped happening to the MFC..

Farmer was a genuine talent, & we should be able to make these situations workout into a good result, instead of always parting ways with match winning types who have inspired the club.

We should be able to do what the Cats have done with Stevie Johnson & others they had issues with... We need to grow in many ways, & we need to lose the crap don't stink ways.

And I'm talking the likes of Pike & farmer & others i can't think of right now. Not flashee types that hit like a mosquito & fly away like Peregrine.. like some very recently.

If a player is a handful, we should be able to manage him well enough to instill disciplines into his game early in his career...

Regards the senior AFL people, like Sheedy & Matthews,,, too many gifthorses have passed under our elevated noses.

Exactly what is it about this club and its Messiah complex?

No one is going to magically fix the club all have to contribute focus strategy and hard bloody work!

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
