Rock Bottom.

They've all got to go.

Neeld's pre-match address was mind-bogglingly inept. Poor bloke's lost the dressing room. Got no idea.

McLardy, Schwab ... on yer bikes. Resign now for the good of the club.

Or we go the way of Fitzroy.

whats the story with that pre-game address? Whose idea was it? It was almost like it was shown exclusively so that everyone can witness for themselves that Neeld has no idea... even the fact he knew he was on camera didn't fire him up. Call me a conspiracy nut, but somebody arranged for that to happen in order to sign Neeld's marching orders

Defiantly, the club HAS imploded.

I noticed that Mitch put his head in his hands I think Neeld is losing him as well.

My U17 coach could pump out a better speech than that, the guys a joke, DELIST.

I'd be more worried about the gameplan then a brave heart style speech. This isn't local footy. A well drilled and executed gameplan will always beat chest thumping rhetoric.

But it wasn't even chest thumping. It was [censored] weak cliches. Neeld is an obvious failure - poor appointment - he has to go!!

On game plan I agree. A pre match speech means nothing to me.

He himself must surely be questioning whether he's the right man to take the club forward. On no level is this defendable. If he can't lift the team for their customary bounce back after a flogging, he's done.

That was perhaps the most uninspiring piece of drivel I have ever seen and has definitely sealed Neeld's fate as a coach at AFL level. He can't inspire the players. Goodbye.

I thought that as well. He has lost the group. Every team has gone past us. I can see us winning one or 2 games for the year. I'm guessing Neeldy will fall on his sword by mid year.

He should fall on his sword now. I'm finished with this [censored].

Dunno about mid year. Would like to see it happen before then.

Don't just stop at Neeld fellas. The issues run far, far deeper than that.

I would like to know how deep. I really doubt we can recover from this. You know the the permanent rebuild. I've supported Melbourne for over 50 years - I think i'm finally done.

[censored] schwab off NOW!!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
