The Unholy Trinity mate.

Dave Misson, Neil Craig and Mark Neeld. This lot should have been directed by the Coen Brothers.

We are in excellent hands.

I just watched the 20 minute interview with NC, he is an extremely confident individual, who i believe with his out of the box thinking will really tap into the youth that we have and hopefully fire a couple of rockets up a few in the squad to get a wriggle on!. am extremely stoked to have NC on board. Guess that leaves Chris Connolly to be directed by the Farrelly Brothers, am I right?

Or Jack Trengrove

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and put his stumbling over "Trengrove" down to a slip of the tongue. He wouldn't be the first (incidentally, do a google search on "Jack Trengrove" and marvel at the number of news articles that get his name wrong, quite often in the heading itself). He did however mention this Chris Daw bloke a couple of times.

Just took the time to listen to the presser ( as opposed to read the words etc ) . This bloke is a gem. That he would want to be part of a re-invigorated Melbourne says much I feel about the likely hood of us getting there. A very considered orator. I think his role in the Sports Performance position will pay dividends way over in the next few years. He brings a level of intuition, understanding and polish that this club hasnt had for......... hmm

I can see why Neeld and Craig work so well together.

You cant build anything of note without a plan and these guys ( together with Misson ) are the Architects of a New Melbourne. Rome wasnt built in a day and neither will the resurgent Demons, but im glad were in their collective hands.

I always listened and enjoyed Neil Craig's interviews when he was the coach of the Froot Loops.

Now i know why.

The guy is 24 carat gold as a mentor.

Only just returned a few days ago and listened to the Neil Craig interview for the first time. BB59's assessment of the interview is spot on and our gain is Adelaide's loss! (Also with Neeld and Misson respectively, it is Collingwood and St Kilda's loss!). I am really looking forward to 2013 with these guys on board and the playing list.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
