What an idiotic post. Grow up.

Well, the humour bypass operation you had seems to have been a success.

gee that is very astute of you hardtack, yes I do harbour resentment to the bloke that has single-handedly landed a huge blow to the club with his comments. Why in the name of God would be defending him?

I think you missed my point C&B... I consider the real culprits in this to be the On the Couch crew who managed to lead McLean up that path...unfortunately he wasn't smart enough to realise it until it was too late. What is currently happening to our club is almost entirely down to journos and their insatiable appetites for cheap sensationalism.

One side of the story I heard is he was told by the MFC he was not needed any longer with the way the club was going forward he was very disappointed and as we can see he has still not got over it.he wanted to stay but was not wanted any longer by Bailey and co.

We have a winner. Brock was invited to leave, told it was in his best interests to look elsewhere to continue his career. It, as you could imagine, hurt him deeply.

He might have been disillusioned with the club due to the '09 results, but he did't walk out on the club because of it. We showed him the door...

I heard Hankook stopped supplying Brock's tyres and he couldn't afford to do burn outs any more.

Just sayin....

Mleb knew something was up with Brock from about round 15. He was stalling with contract negotiations and was very stand offish. At the end of the season he was still out of contract and Carlton came knocking, they said they needed a player to protect Judd and that Melbourne had the players they were after. They inquired about Moloney, Jones and McLean, Dees knocked back both Moloney and Jones, but said – confidentially to Blues that only a very good offer would get them McLean as he was very much Melbourne. Stephen Icke said, what about pick 11. Harrington said he’d think about it, but that none of this was to be discussed with McLean. While all this was going on, McLean and his manager eventually met with Melbourne, Dees said thanks for meeting with us etc, Brock’s manager interjected and said Brock wants to say something – ‘I want out, I want to play for Carlton’. Dees said he was a required player and they wanted to keep, and that he should go away and think about it. They hadn’t heard anything for a while, and Swann met TH at Princes Park watching U/18’s game and said have you thought about the deal. TH said Dees were prepared to go through with the deal and shook his hand. Done deal.

This is a theory or fact? If fact, where did it come from?

It was a section of a report on a future fund night with BP and TH after the 2009 draft. It was posted on the Future fund website which is no more and now part of "Mates of Melbourne " I believe. It was an attendees recollections of discussions from the night.

And herein lies the reason for the depth of BM's vindictiveness. We got in first and he thought he had - ha

I don't like to think too hard about the role of the hosts of On The Couch. Anyone seen the brothers Healy together lately?

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
