Was mentioned on SEN around 1pm.

Said Tony went and collected him after being found unconscious around 3am Sunday morning in King St.

Didn't say what illicit drugs were found in his possession, but it wouldn't be hard to guess.

Does anyone know if it was marijuana or something more serious?

I'm at that age and I can almost guarantee it was something more serious.

I'll put it this way, you don't go to the King Street to relax on marijuana.

I would highly doubt it was something as strong as Heroin there would be more made of it, it seems to be 'another' ecstasy issue.

I say another because the AFL can hide the issue behind 3 strikes for each player but the issue is getting out of hand quickly and we're not doing much.

GBH is the drug of choice, apparently. Can't be detected in the system after about 10 or 12 hours.

Libba didn't have any in his system apparently, but I'd say if he was found unconscious, anything he'd taken would have been taken more recently than that.

It was ecstasy tablets, and they gave him his sEcond strike even though none were detected in the system due to his possession of them

What I don't understand is how come he was on his lonesome in kings street

I thought the first rule of survival was to stick with a group......big mistake

Perhaps they saw the writing on the wall and got the hell out of there DC.

Otherwise we can only assume that an AFL football went out on his own.

Must happen all the time

No

Oh well there goes a good theory.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
