Green kick after the siren......

Point

Only score for the 1/4

This is predictably shite. The only reason we're anywhere near close on the scoreboard is because we're playing the only other side at our level. I'm not emotional, or upset, or disappointed, or anything. Just bored.

Mark Neeld, wtf are you smoking?

Get a man in the square who isn't a classified midget.

And somebody for the love of God teach our players to kick.

Horrible quarter. Sick to death of this team's inability to play 4 quarters.

Say what you like about the quality of the list, but our coaching staff and conditioning staff have a lot to answer for.

Everyone yelled at me last week that we lost because we were two men down. Port lost one already and have another throwing up on the field. And yet they destroyed us.

Lets see whether their lack of run aids us, but somehow I still think we'll limply turn it over and lose.

I know right. What is he thinking?

This team is an embarrassment to the Club and the competition, I don't think I have ever seen a worse skilled side and any player at our club that can't get a game must be a [censored] footballer.

Do any of our players understand that this is football and one of the fundamentals of the game is being able to kick the ball and at this level accurately?

is grimes playing mid or back?

Grimes and Martin are the only two I haven't wanted to punch in the face tonight.

But there's still time...

we should only kick short into the forward line from now on. Long isn't working for us. Chip it to half forward and let Blease or Jetta run it in.

We are missing Jack Watts kicking from half back.

Trenners has the cement boots on again tonight.

Amazing we're not 5 goals down at least.

Jones has been quiet tonight. Blease has done absolutely nothing. I've noticed we've started to use the old Ashton Hams technique of leaning into the opposition tackle and earning bs high free kicks. It's about time. If other teams are doing it, why shouldn't we?

This is worse than watching suburban footy. I am sick of B grade skills by MFC. They are pathetic to watch,.......either play at a standard for this level of get out..ffs

Posted

Trenners, wow, that was just annus horribilus and really summed up were we are at for me, slow, no skill, and completely inept at this level as a team, we do have talent, I think.

Posted

They're learning the defensive side of the game first remember? Attacking plans to come..... FMD!

We have a team full of footballing morons.

How can you have the ball in your hands, look inside 50 and decide that bombing it to Magner is a good option?

How about having a bit of composure FFS!!!!!!

Let the coaching staff walk home - the players might win a game in the next few weeks without coaching 'help'!

This will come to fruition in the last quarter. They should be out on their feet without the rotations. however unless we learn to kick it to a bloke with a Melbourne jumper on we will continue to get smashed even with them standing still

I wonder what the 'actual ' team instruction is ?

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
